  • Julian must be an Islamophobe. Not only has he put our troops in danger, but the countless lives of innocent Muslims. Especially those who truly do want to live in peace. His moment of fame and glory will have consequences for Muslims in the region for many years after our soldiers come home. God has a special place for his ilk. I think he will find it delightfully warm and toasty.

  • Me too.

  • ABC – I agree with you on evolution. You can prove it by all those half bird/half lizard critters running around today as reptiles continue to evolve into birds like they did millions of years ago. Evolution certainly didn’t stop after it made its first bird. Reptiles surely continues to evolve into birds. Why almost everywhere you look you see some that are more reptile then bird or some that are more bird than reptile. Just the other day I found a small snake in my garden with the prettiest yellow feathers. Evolution in progress. Proof positive.

  • ABC – What’s really interesting is that Thomas Jefferson attended church in the Capitol building during his presidency after his famous Danbury Letter. One does wonder if he was so adamant about the separation of church and state, why as president he didn’t nip that practice in the bud right then and their rather than attend the services lending the misconception that he supported any religious activity in government facilities. Or at a minimum boycott the service to show how deeply he felt as the father of “wall of separation”. What a sell out he turned out to be.

    Most definitely.

  • When it comes to listening to either Joy Bahar or Bill Maher, I find that going out to the back yard and cleaning up the dog’s previous meals an acceptable alternative. It smells about the same but far more productive.

  • Wow. You guys must be OLD. Avalon Hill Games rocked. Gettysburg. Panzer Blitz, Chancellorsville. Video games had nothing on us. Played them by the hour.

Thanks for the encouragement. It is just so darn exasperating when you see such total BS on something like this. The Dems know it is crap. Fighting those who believe the ends justifies the means just isn’t fair when we are suppose to take the high road. Gotta keep on trusting in the one who sets our combat rules because there are no alternatives for us. But, Lord, are you sure a lightening bolt or two just to get there attention….

  • We just have to face it. The voices of the Republican Party are just the same old Politicians spending as much of the Tea Party political capital as they can until it is gone. Like the Dems, if they thought it would help their political careers, they would morph from elephant to donkey in a heart beat. The Overton window theory proves it takes years to change a landscape. I’m afraid the Chinese will not give us the necessary time. While we fight from within and are being attacked from without, China has no natural predators anymore. I’m buying my Chinese version of Rosetta Stone now before they get hard to find. Yeah….. I’m a little down today. I think I’m loosing hope.

  • I discovered the other day where we Americans have gone astray. A nephew of my wife’s attending Oklahoma City University, a real Obama fan, posted an article on facebook from the school paper of a Former Ambassador to Egypt who spoke to their class. The article indicates the former ambassador said, “Terrorism is about understanding, not right or wrong.” So you see, the killing of 3,000 innocent people, many being first responders trying to save those dying terrifying deaths was not wrong, just misunderstood. We just assumed it was an evil act based on our misguided moral standards. With his definition of terrorism, neither right or wrong, Islam is obviously a religion of piece. And from an ambassador from Egypt, a moderate Muslim Nation.

Any bets that the starry eyed youths listing to the speaker just sat and nodded there agreement? Never questioning the comment. Here is the link to the article. Has a lot of nice words on building our relations with the Muslim world. Of course, it is us who must learn to be tolerant of them. They are just innocent, misunderstood citizens of the world if you read between the lines. Or the actual lines in most cases I guess. Remember how peaceful the rest of the afternoon was after you gave your lunch money to the class bully? Kind of the same principle.
