  Amen!! Rep. Clyburn may feel threatened by certain free speech, but I’m pretty sure the majority of us feel threatened by his suggestion of censoring free speech.

  It sounds like this sheriff has political aspirations beyond the office of sheriff, and he’s using this tragedy as a campaign starting point for himself. Regardless, he’s despicable.

  Wouldn’t it be sad and ironic if this whacko, Jared Loughner’s, defense attorney uses Sheriff Dupnik‘s media comments as evidence in his trial that law enforcement believed it was not Jared’s fault….but the hateful rhetoric of the media that brainwashed him into committing this crime? This sheriff simply needs to keep his personal opinions to himself for the duration of due process. Afterward, he can write a freakin book if he wants.

  I‘m sure I’ll take heat for this, but I’ll risk it. I don’t believe the problem is the lack of Muslims denouncing the actions of the Jihadist as it is the media not focusing on the ones who do. My husband fought in Iraq side-by-side with an American Muslim (US Army) who had no problem fighting against jihadist muslims. His belief: The jihadist were extremist that were overlooking the true message of Islam. In my opinion (strictly my own), believing all Muslims follow Islam the same as the jihadists is tantamount to believing all Christians follow Christianity the same as the Branch Davidians.

  Really? I‘m thinking this must’ve been a crime of the pervertedly insane. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t remember ever being taught castrating someone is the ultimate cure for a broken heart.
