  You conservatives that support Newt, Romney, or Santorum are delusional and really need to understand the true meaning of being a conservative.

  Newt – favorite prezs – Lincoln who started the downslide of states rights and FDR the great expander of the federal govt.

  Santorum – voted for every big govt pgm that has come down the pike and wants to lord over how you live. His morals are more important than yours.

  Romney – obviously not a conservative – will say anything to get elected like the rest.

  Sorry – i support the only true conservative in the race because he is the only one that follows the message of Jefferson and Madison. I guess they were nut jobs too based on the messages I see on this board. I am not a robot like most of you that live off soundbites. Too bad for our country that most just follow along and don’t think for themselves. 100 years of govt education has done its intended purpose. I guess being a conservative means expanding your miliatry presence across the globe, bankrupting the country with its many pgms, and telling others how to live their lives. How the definition of conservatism has changed.

You really need to write Walt Williams, Thomas Sowell, and William Grigg and ask them why they have their articles published there if you think it is a racist site, but you probably don’t know who they are.

  I live in the real world and am a huge supporter of RP.

  I guess you think that TSA keeps you safe at the airport also or that Homeland Security is really protecting you? They are both govt facades to keep you living in fear. A US high school student could figure out many soft targets across the states and do considerable damage to the population. You just keep on eating from the talking heads trough.

  Why would you think spreading our military across the globe keeps you safe? What a pile of horse manure.

  Rush and you are wrong on foreign policy.

  There are threats in this world, but you turn a blind eye on the travesties and the death toll our military leaves as they spread democracy. You wouldn’t be as joyous of spreading death and destruction if the drones were flying over your house and bombing your neighborhoods.

  Where do you stop?! The govt is great at creating demons and you assume that anything the military does is wonderful. I respect the soldiers and I have the utmost concern for our brave men and women that our carrying out our govt’s intervention policies. We stir the pot and our soldiers are placed in harm’s we. The military is supposed to protect our borders and not be the world”s policemen.

  RP follows the Constitution and is not an isolationist. Trade with all and alliances with all. That was the policy of Jefferson and Madison and that’s the policy of RP.

  We now live with the Wilson foreign policy! We are supposed to embrace this crazy world of intervention because we are supposed to support our military. I strongly support the troops, but I don’t follow the party line that war is good!

  Wow! What it must be like to be a conservative these days. Create boogie men and then pound the war drums and you can be a proud card carrying member of the Conservative clan.

  I used to consider myself conservative, but no longer do I march lock step with the Iran is evil and we need to stop them from getting nukes. What a joke! They are not a threat to us, but it makes good banter. Our military is larger than all of the other militaries combined by a wide margin and why should we be responsible for the security of the rest of the world. It bankrupted Rome and it has bankrupted us. The conservatives speak out of both sides of their mouth. Limited government and reduction of welfare on one side and unfettered military spending on the other. The conservatives have been co-opted by the Wilson progressives. That nutjob started our country’s intervention policies and began taking over the educational establishment as well. You get enough people to believe you should spread democracy and now we have a military industrial complex running rampant across the globe.

  I am NO LIBERAL, but I NO longer considerable myself a conservative as defined by the neo-cons. There are consequences to our scorched earth approach. I am not naive – I know there is evil in the world, but we ARE culpable for stirring the pot. The govt always has to have a boogie man to justify their existence and unfortunately they are great at provoking others and creating enemies.
