  • Where are the fat kids?

Maybe she’s trying to enforce the exaggerated media norm for “fat”. Not like depression and eating disorders are a problem for kids anyway. Ugh.

  • Thank you, CapitalismRocks, FarmerPat and Findalis. I’d also like to point out that it did not appear this group was protesting for special treatment. Believe it or not, quite a few Pagans are conservative – they mainly just want to be left in peace and to retain their autonomy. Most also share many of the same morals as Christians and Jews, they just look at God a little differently.

  • Wow. Worst. Interview. Ever. On Any network.

  • I think the big question is…. why do we have a migratory bird treaty? I didn’t know that US relations with geese were that strained. Whoever came up with that is…. (ready?) quite the QUACK.

    In reply to MAN007.

@auntmoxie, you’re right. This is exactly what people hear about conservatives and think we are ALL like this.

We‘ll sit here and scream that stuff is unconstitutional until it’s something we don’t understand or like. The Constitution doesn’t give us the right to say who can marry whom; if state‘s want to make that decision it’s their right. What’s the difference here? So he’s attracted to men? Big deal. If that makes him less of a soldier, then maybe guys who like fat chicks shouldn’t be in the military. Or people in an interracial relationship. What enemy would YOU rather face? A stranger that just wants to kill you because you’re an American, or the possibility that your FATHER won‘t love you and you’ll lose your family? Come on. If he doesn’t have his family, what’s he fighting for? Not us. He doesn’t know us.

All this hate has just got to stop. You don’t have to like what other people do, you don’t have to participate, and you don‘t have to give anyone special treatment because they’re different. How the heck are we supposed to win a vital election if we keep spouting this kind of hateful nonsense??? It’s ignorant and it makes me hope I never see some of you at a Tea Party.

  • Thank you for posting this.

Over 3000 people died, buildings crushed, lives destroyed–that’s on THEM. There’s still a gaping hole in New York City ten years later–that’s on US. Where’s that 200-story tower we were going to build?

9-11 was the worst day I can remember. 9-12 was the best.

  • Umm… no. Watch out, kiddos, this’ll be law before we know it.

  • Perhaps they should have consulted a psychologist on this one… a child that doesn’t play sports, may or may not be terribly overweight, but has a poor body image sees the girl and thinks, “that must be me.” Whether the child is as heavy as the one depicted is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that kids can have symptoms of depression too and one of them is that they are constantly looking for reinforcement of their negative thoughts. And here it is, in living color. Good job, jerks, for putting MORE kids at risk for suicide and depression.

  • Glenn, we know these are not decent people. It’s not really their fault, I guess, I suppose the government has not yet subsidized courteousness. Stay strong for you family. My family is behind yours. We’re here to back you up. They can tax everything we own but they can’t take away our pride and dignity. God bless you for everything you do, and God bless your family for staying strong!!!

  • Jeezums. That’s news? I don’t even know what to think. What a bunch of brain-washed turds watching NBC out there in LA.
