This surplus you speak of, which of the following best describes it:

    A. Accounting gimmick

    B. Clinton just opened trade with China and they purchased a boat load of treasuries in return
for shifting our manufacturing base to their nation which in turn helped the Fed Reserve
pump up the tech bubble which then crashed & trillions vanished from our economy.

    C. There never was a surplus because we have for the last 20+ years simply rolled over maturing
    treasuries.

    D. All of the above

  • This is a perfect example of the mindset of progressives. You are not allowed to defend yourself. A populace full of vigilant self reliant individuals capable of self defense are also an alert populace capable of throwing off the chains of statist progressives. This is why they hate the 2nd amendment and why the confiscation of guns always precedes the violation of human rights.

  • What you fail to understand is a job is not a right, nor is a company supposed to be sacred and never close should they fail.

In your example – a worker owned company means they will expect lifetime jobs that will never go away even if several competitors produce a better product. They will expect raises every year despite economic activity. They will demand larger pensions even with a shrinking market share and limited growth outlook. They will donate money to politicians so legislation can be passed that will penalize their competitors. Then when the low IQ workers have run the company in to the ground they will donate even larger sums of money to the political class in order to receive taxpayer funded bailouts. Gee that sounds like modern day unions!

There is no such thing as job security in an ever changing business climate. This is why the union mentality has failed the USA. They want to obtain a job and never think about updating their skills, or working harder to stay afloat. It is an attitude of entitlement which uses thug tactics to compensate for the individual failures of the workers.

Workers do not start the companies, they try to take them over with unions. Workers do not act responsibly with their own finances hence why they are not the founders or the providers of seed capital. Workers are the equivalent of the mailroom employees except they never try to leave and instead use thug tactics to extract a living beyond their me

  • The key to a collectivist statist central authority is no religion. Make everyone who seeks something higher & greater than themselves become believers in Gaia or a benevolent lets all hold hands while we steal your wealth world government. So long as people can and do believe in something greater than man and the state, they will never be ruled by man or the state. This is what statists like you get all upset about, you hate the refusal to submit to a central authority comprised of sociopaths with a desire to rule over the populace like tyrants.

This has nothing to do with believing in religion or superstition as you call it, it is about rejecting morons like you who want people to bow to a statist all powerful central government that dictates every aspect of life and delivers equal results – except for the ivy league political class & their private jets & lavish lifestyles.

Your logo is rather revealing – minus the line it pretty much states your disposition. Wealth for the connected and solidarity for the masses eh comrade. Your tactics are rather transparent and ill conceived. How much did the Soros people pay you to regurgitate this garbage? FYI we will never submit to a central authority no matter how much progressives attempt to engage in revisionist history, stacking the courts and trying to ban all aspects of patriotism, the flag and nationalism. You only fuel the possibility of McCarthyism 2.0.

  • Anthony Provenzano – a.k.a Tony Pro – a fellow teamster & friend took him for a ride to the meadowlands.

  • JCG is correct with the scenario he described. Also a dirty bomb would send a very large quantity of radiological material airborne and then picked up by prevailing winds. The fact that it is over the water would mean nothing.

  • People please use common sense!

Have you people heard of the tatta nanno? It is a $2,100 car built in India for their poor population. Tell me how ford could build cars here with UAW wages, regulations and taxes and then compete against tatta? That’s correct, they cannot compete in any way shape or form.

India is a very very poor country. The average wage is peanuts. So please tell me how the average citizen in India can afford a car built by Americans earning 100x their pay? Ford is building the plant which will be staffed with Indian workers receiving wages that are in line with India’s economy which will make the autos more affordable for their populace.

Even though I present these realities, I’m sure plenty of union types will grumble that they should have the jobs instead of Indians – even if it means 98% of the Indian population would not be able to afford the car.

It is obvious you only post replies to those who say something favorable about Perry.

Why don’t you tell us who you support?

You and PFN assume a permanent mad max unrest scenario. History has shown we always rebuild and during that rebuilding, some form of order is restored and at that point, economic activity, commerce & trade begin to surface again.

With that said here is an answer to your question.

The man with the gold as he will pay a crew to dig a well and then inflate the price of water from his well. Lets go even further.

The man with the gold will find a man with equipment and strike an agreement. The man will use the gold as leverage to rent the equipment which in turn he will rent to others in order to generate income and pay his monthly rental fee. He still owns the gold but it is held at the local private community bank in an escrow account so long as their agreement stands.

Face it – if you are only stacking food & lead and other items for barter, your labor will eventually belong to someone else. The whole reason for our founders wanting coined currency is because gold & silver are a store of value that maintains liberty & independence for the individual. I have given you two scenarios to show you he who owns the gold makes the rules.

Now go out and research the number of central banks purchasing gold in the last two years and post another water vs gold story if you dare.

  • For every Jimmy Hoffa there is a Tony Provenzano to fix the problem.
