  I live in WA state and when I was hired by a grocery store I was forced to join a union. After I was injured on the job I had to stop by the union headquarters. I had been employed there for atleast a couple months and had not paid any dues yet.

  Before I left the building, I was told, “You need to pay your dues or you’re going to get fired.”

  Yes that is a direct quote. They threatened my job if I did not pay them. As far as I am concerned they are no better and no different than the mafia. The mafia demands ‘protection money’ or they’ll put you out of business.

  There is one person and one person only responsible for this. That person was Joshua Powell. He chose to murder his two children and most likely his wife as well. He made the plans and executed those plans. No one but but him is to blame.

  Although we could just trample the constitution and throw out the Bill Of Rights. I guess Law Enforcement could do without needing Probable Cause to make an arrest right? The Bill of Rights is such a pesky and irritating thing.

  I grew up in WA state and went through the public education system and it sure wasn’t that bad! If these kids are our future then WE ARE DOOMED! From what I remember in my history classes you pretty have to try to be this ignorant.

  Teenage unemployment??? Why not just cut to the chase and attack Fast Food Restaurants and Grocery Stores for not hiring more burger flippers and bagging boys/ girls?!

  The overwhelming majority of teens aren’t the sole providers for their families. Sorry not a statistic that I am overly concerned about. Its pretty obvious that the entire nation needs more jobs and employment opportunities especially those who are trying to provide for their families

  The amount of ignorance and/ or sheer naive idiocy on display in the comments are shocking. Police officers have the same right as everyone else to protect their own life. If someone comes at you with what looks like some ancient battle axe, are you going to shoot them with your gun or let them hit you with it?

  They tried to use a non-lethel means of ending the situation and it didn’t work. The suspect then charged the officer and raised his weapon which could clearly cause grave bodily harm and/or death. The officer’s partner then used lethal force untill the threat was stopped. This is a justified use of force. These officers will be cleared and rightly so.

  There was no alternative to the use of force and the amount of force used was reasonable to effect the lawful purpose intended.
