  • The Top Ten Pro-Freedom Movies of All Time

    September 22, 2011 at 8:11pm

I disagree with some, but here are my choices:

No one has mentioned Far and Away, a great movie about Immigrants making it in America, or How The West Was Won.

    Mel Gibson:
    Braveheart,
    The Patriot (Gibson),
    We Were Soldiers

    The Duke:
    The Alamo,
    In Harm’s Way,
    Red River,
    The Longest Day

    WWII:
    Battle of the Bulge,
    The Great Escape,
    Saving Private Ryan,
    Patton,
    THe Dirty Dozen

    Civil War:
    Glory

    Misc:
Armageddon (Corny I know, but a great patriotic action film),
    Independence Day,
Taken (Liam Neeson doing the job the French wouldn’t do),
    Navy Seals,
    The Last Samurai,
    Black Hawk Down,
Battle: Los Angeles (Mixture of Black Hawk Down and ID4),
    Heartbreak Ridge

I could go on, but that’s enough for starters.

  • RIP Joey V. We will miss him and his patriotism.

  • I mostly agree with the results:

    I’m:
    Male age 18-34
    Conservative
    Mathemathally-inclined
Never traveled outside of country (Hawaii doesn’t count)
Listens to telemarketers (I let them spiel then politely say no until they hang up)
Favorite TV shows: The Walking Dead, Stargate(s)
Favorite books: Lord of the Rings, 1984 (?Still haven’t read), Eaters of The Dead
    Cereal: Cinnamon Toast Crunch

I First used the Internet in 1994, use Gmail.

  • The Glenn Beck Show is the only show on FNC that I DVR and watch Daily.

I know that Media Matters will claim the victory, but it appears that they’ve won. Have they really?

Let’s hope the news of a Glenn Beck Cable channel is not true as that will only reach a small segment of the population, ie: Current TV. Does anyone actually watch that channel? I get it now that I switched to DirecTV but never watch it.
