  The issue is simple, marijuana is illegal on a federal level. Firearms dealers are regulated by a federal agency. So when the federal agency that regulates firearm sales is asked if people using marijuana “legally” in their state can buy guns the answer is going to be no. Now to the point of weather you should be able to be a “legal” marijuana user and a “legal” gun owner. I say yes. I get frequent kidney stones and when I do my Dr prescribes be Vicoden, or Percocet. Are you saying that my guns should be taken away. I am on a drug that is way more addictive than marijuana, if you even believe marijuana is addictive, and certainly impairs my ability to use a firearm safely, not unlike marijuana. The folks who are saying that marijuana users should not be able to purchase a firearm, even though it is legal in their state to use marijuana, I would like to ask you a question. Would you ban the sale of firearms to those who use alcohol, a perfectly legal substance ? If you would not then I would ask you to rethink your position on legal marijuana use and purchasing and owning firearms. Using something to treat an injury or illness and still being able to protect oneself is part of the pursuit of Life, Liberty and Happiness and those rights should never be taken away.

  I am going to drive my SUV that I replaced the 6 cylinder engine with a gas guzzling v 8 with the windows down and the AC on. After that I may burn some tires and club a baby seal with wooden club that was made from a forest that spotted owls lived in. Then I will watch Fox News while cleaning my guns and comment on how annoyed I am with environmentalists and their stupid antics.
