  • The problem, once again, is that the lame stream media positions conservative values as some how outside the mainstream and anybody believing those values as being bigoted towards the fringe groups.
The question should be, are outside fringe groups judgemental towards trditional values on which this country was founded?

  • @JZS – You remind me of something grandma used to say, “empty vessels sound the loudest”.

  • Putz

  • Well Time magazine’s readership was already down…this should rightfully kill it.

  • Don’t you find it interesting how the establisment republicans are slamming Mr. Newt? What are they scared of?
Makes you wonder why they are all working so hard to keep Newt down?
I think Newt knows where the bodies are buried and, because of that, if elected can press a true conservative agenda through. One needs only to look at the contract with America and it’s success to know this guy will run people over for the good of the country.
Did he get too about himself, certainly. But he cleansed himself as did Beck. He is a different man now.
Stop listening to the liberal press telling us he is not electable. He is the most feared by the Obama camp.
And the FDR stuff, lets not get too excited there either. All he is saying is FDR got it done and Newt was impressed with his political ability. FDR did get 4 terms and plowed over congress and the courts. Right or wrong, he was a very successful politician.

  • @Colt – Just because little Mr. Beck makes a declaration regarding a disconnection with both parties does not make it a fact. Sure people are frustrated however they mainly see only the one side of the argument, the liberal side. Beck is one man whos following I believe is faiding. I was a believer until he interviewed Bachmann after Newt recently. His Newt discussion was frank and direct to the point. No problem with that. However, when he talks to Bachmann asks her opinion on what she thought about Newt‘s answers to Glenn’s questions and allows her free airtime to critique Newt, not right. Beck showed his stripes as a biased man whos credibility is shot with this former follower. He reminded me of every other liberal news person who only interview guests that completely agree with their views.
Look, the liberal base will always be a liberal base. As long as libs promise and are able to fund the multitude of programs with their followers, a slave state of people that will always vote democrat. Most of the third party voters, if there are any to be found, will come from the republican side and, as previously mentioned, will ensure democratic victories. That will keep Beck in business.
I was a supporter of the man and watched & DVRed his Fox show. But something happened with him and his feel about his place of importance. I think the engine has lost it’s umph. In my view, he is not as important as he thinks he is. He really needs to get a grasp.

  • I truly believe Glenn wants to split the conservative/moderate republican vote so Barry will win and Glenn’s ratings will grow if Obama gets a second term. Yup, split the vote so Glenn can have his money cow re-elected. That is the only real reason I can imagine for his I stance. Glenn speaks out of both sides of his mouth with his support for Ron Paul too. If Paul had his way, we would never be in the middle east arena or support Israel financially. Iran and other Arab states want to wipe Israel off the map but Paul says we have no business telling them they cannot have a nuke, duh! How does Beck rationalize that? Beck just needs to realize that he is one vote.

  • Bachmann seems like a nice person and, if she were in a state that meant something politically like Florida, she would make a fine veep. She is however, irrelevant in the real scheme of things and will not amount to anything presidential other than to be certain her views on policy are utilized when another republican candidate is elected. Her power in congress will be enhanced. She may find her presidential pace in 2020.
Now if Beck has his way, either Bachmann or Paul or both will run as a third party and that will slit the conservative/republican vote and ensure Obama wins again.
    That’s just crazy.

  • Enough already.
I was a Beck fan as well. I have listened to his diatribe over the future and believe allot of what he says is still true. However, he has to get over himself. He is just one man, one vote. What I hear Gingrich saying is FDR was a great politician that got things done, period. Hell the guy was elected to four terms and bowled over both congress and the courts.
If we listen to Glenn and his support for Ron Paul, there’s another wack job, Obama is in for certain. Then we can listen to Beck whine about Barry another four years. Ron Paul reminds me of Rosie with his conspiracy theories about the middle east, not worrying about Iran and nukes, geez.

  • What about her vote and others, both parties, who’s votes are bought and paid for by lobbiests. The height of hypocrisy. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones!
