    In reply to scuba13.

    Pelosi Way
    A One way with a dead end to be sure.
    You have to pay an arm and a leg toll to boot.

    So sad that your understanding is based on such limited information. To think that in one short life, what one can only see, touch, and even learn, qualifies one to claim greater understanding then the wisdom of the ages. Discount the spiritual, the miraculous, and things that pertain to the realm of the soul, is the very definition of unGodly. God functions within the realm of laws no less tangible then the laws of nature. The difference is that the breaking of natural law doesn’t carry an eternal consequence.
    Your writings are just another example of the lawlessness that this world is sinking into. God‘s law is thrown away and then the oh so inevitable throwing off of man’s law occurs, as surely as night follows day.The Man of Lawlessness, Son of Perdition, Destroyer, seeker of whom he may steal and kill, revels in our lawlessness. Arrogance and pride are his first and most often used tools and they ring out clear and loud in our “we are the 99%” society, and sad to say, in your postings.
    Macpap, In another posting you claim to have been turned off during a theology course in college. Another epic fail for when liberal theology is taught by non-Christians. Try letting the author of the book explain it to you. That would involve walking back your hurt and skepticism, and too much of what you think you understand, back to an earlier time. Way too far to walk probably.
    Offended? Jesus said He would be a stone of stumbling and rock of offense.

  • ENCINOM Translated from B.S. to English.
    Encinom wrote;
    “Nothing like attempting to dictate morality of your employees leading to the best and brightest leaving. This “pledge” or purity test is nothing more than Christian Facsim.”
    English translation;
    Look at what happens when you hold up the light of truth to your employees, the Godless and depraved scurry for the shadows. This “pledge” or purity test is nothing more than Christian Facsim (sic) and we all know that only humanist fascism is tolerated in this day and age.

  • @ENCINOM
    You say, “Lets let Christan bigots destroy the republic and replace it with a Theocracy. Employers should never have any say in what an employee does after they punch out.”
    Which when translated means;
    Lets let Godless Atheist bigots destroy the republic and replace it with Communism. The Government should have the only say in what an employee does before and after punching out.

    You wrote “I guess YOUR bibles prove beyond doubt…(emphasis added)“ Its not ”My Bible” it is the word of God. I suggest you pick one up and make God’s word your own so then you can speak intelligently about what it has to say about alcohol use.
    Some other principles you might find that are relevant to this discussion would include but are not limited to;
    Be a light in the world but don’t become like the world; Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what [is] that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
    John 17:14 “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.” This is Jesus speaking about you personally RUSKY as being the world.
    Your simplistic response demonstrates a mind that has not studied the bible that you are railing against. Since the bible is God’s revelation to us, to rant against Him makes you a fool.
    1 Corinthians 3:19 “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their [own] craftiness”
    I applaud any institution that strives to maintain Christian principles in the midst of this ever darkening world. Sanctified (saints) means to be set apart for God’s purposes, and Christians are called to contend for the gospel in the world while not becoming of the world.

  • My favorite Pre-tribulation Rapture proof.
    The Bible frequently uses the allusion that Jesus is the groom and the Church is His bride.
    Jesus says, “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”
    But in the mean time Jesus‘ Father is going to beat the crap out of His Son’s bride. Does it make sense that our mansion is going to be a Recovery Room?

  • @Palerider
    The bible guarantees a white robe and front row seating at God’s throne for those who are persecuted unto death for the Gospel of the Lamb of God. The end isn’t going to be pretty but I say bring it on.
    “Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both [the number of] their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they [were], was completed.” (Revelation 6:11)
    “For what [is] our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? [Is it] not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?” (1 Thessalonians 2:19)

    “He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20) The greek word for quickly implies suddenly and not soon as many amillennialists would have us believe.
    God bless Billy Graham, one of this generation’s greatest evangelist and servant of God. God grant him sweat rest from his work soon.

  • @TRV1
    Your argument concerning Iran doesn’t wash because the doctrines of Islam are not the same as what the Christian God expects from His followers. You would be better served making the case against religious practices being kept separate from Government, as few practices are universally held even among Christian sects.
    But that is religion, what about faith?
    No one can be expected to check their faith at the door, though Pelosi and Reid seem to do it well. My faith, not my religion, are inextricably tied with who I am and I will follow the tenants of that faith because it is reveled to me by God as it is for all believers. It would be unreasonable to expect a truly faithful believer to operate outside the tenants of that faith and our founding fathers were wise enough to recognize this and to plan accordingly.
    Even you couldn’t hold public office without your atheism impacting your view of how to govern. At least with a faithful Christian you know where their compass is pointing. With the Pelosi, Reid types whose religion is the liberal democrat party and Obama whose God is self, anything goes.

  • @DAVEED
    Don’t sugar coat it, tell them what you really think.
    You shouldn’t hold back man, it leads to ulcers.
    : )

  • We need to start sending letters to the “FFRF” thanking them for giving us so many opportunities to stand up and be counted for our faith. Persecution and especially Martyrdom get the overcoming Christian a white robe and front row seating at the throne of God. So I say God bless the FFRF and keep bringing it.
    How many Christians have had more opportunity to witness for Christ because of these fools? Let them know.
    The same goes for the atheists on this site. God bless them for giving us the opportunity to witness for Christ. Their foolishness in the name of REASON is an opportunity to show the true wisdom of God which is found in the fear and reverence of the Lord.
    If you are feeling like you aren’t shining the light of Christ bright enough remember; The darker it becomes the less bright your light has to be to make a difference.
    Its getting oh so dark outside.
