  Warning people about hazards in the road ahead should be perfectly legal. How ever if you chose to warn speeders of radar checks or law breaking motorists of up coming license checks, I for one don’t want them or you on the road with me. And if I was to be involved in a accident because you warned a law breaker I would make it my mission in life to track YOU down. If any of my family were to be hurt you would not be able to run far enough or hide long enough to keep me off you. Warning law breakers is not freedom of speech, it’s aiding and abetting and should be punishable in a court of law.

  When I was young and dumb I used to do the same thing. Now that I am older and wiser I want speeders and law breakers to be caught. I for one don’t want to be on the road with speeders, drunks, illegals, or uninsured motorists. I sure as hell am not going to warn them.

  Now the but,

  It was a captive audience. Everyone who has gone to a dmv office knows you show up early if you don’t want to be there all day. That means before they open. You are there because you have to be. You cannot leave. It may be the only time you can be there. Like, you have a job.

  I think what really upsets us is the double standard in the way the law is written concerning unions. We also believe another certain religion would be treated differently.

  If he was standing in the parking lot asking people to listen I have no problem. When asked to leave he should comply.

  For years smokers flaunted their right to smoke in the faces of non-smokers. In restaurants, in public and used the ground as their personal trash can. They created enormous amounts of bad will. When they went after big tobacco the smokers had very little public support and they paid the price.

  People like the Westboro Church and this guy at DMV are fomenting the same bad will. Many more people in that line would have been more open to what he was saying if he had complied and moved to the parking lot and invited people to listen. Had the cop arrested him then those people would have been much more sympathetic.

  We have to make sure the laws apply equally to all.
  The cop and the preacher both acted stupidly in their attitude toward each other.

  Now let the hate attacks begin.
