  Hovering over a road is not trespassing. It is not interfering with the hunt in any way you freaking moron. The plantation took SHARK to court to attempt to stop this surveillance from happening and LOST because they were not flying over private property, thereby interfering with a hunt you fool. Try reading the original article before opening your pie hole.

  Try running into that same falling birdshot 300 yards away at 60 mph on a motorcycle an tell me how that feels you moron.

  It’s d*ckh**ad rednecks like you that are putting restrictions on my 2nd Amendment Rights by condoning illegal activity and private property damage like this. Good thing you don’t pay attention to the 4 rules of firearms safety. You and yours will probably kill or wound each other in the near future and end up dead or in prison. Good. The gene pool needs to be cleansed of irresponsible gun owners like yourself.

  No argument with your take on pigeons. The argument here is about felony activity. Feds will be involved in this and there will be consequences. Shots were illegally fired over a public road. Private property was illegally destroyed. The owner of the Plantation is liable for the damage and the people he allowed to hunt on his property.

  SHARK will sue and win. Gun rights will take a hit and there will be no more hunting on the plantation for the sake of public safety. I would make sure of that if I were a neighbor of this a$$hat plantation owner. I don’t want projectiles crossing the road onto my property endangering me and mine. I’d personally go to the door of the owner and have a face to face with him about the four rules of firearms safety and responsibility with firearms.

  I would offer my services and testimony to SHARK in suing the plantation owners inheritance to his kids for not only breaking laws and endangering my life, but for violating the four rules of firearm safety and the potential long term harm it will provide in restricting my gun rights.

  This Plantation owner, the gang banger who shot down the drone and everyone on this blog supporting this thuggery are enemies of the Constitution and 2nd Amendment and should be treated with disgust, contempt and extreme prejudice.

  The four rules of firearms safety that were violated:
  1. Treat every gun as if loaded. (Violated. Knowing guns were loaded and willingly violating muzzle control when shooting across a public road.)
  2. Never put your finger on the trigger till you are ready to shoot. (Violated. Having your finger on the trigger while pointing a firearm across or down a public road.)
  3. Never shoot at anything you don’t intend to destroy. (Violated. Intending to destroy private property breaks this rule.)
  4. Be sure of your target AND WHAT IS BEYOND. (Violated. No consideration for private citizens driving down a public road. What would that 7 or 8 shot do to a motorcyclist??)

  Any firearms owner supporting this illegal shoot down of the drone should take, or retake a firearms safety course. If you are a permit holder, your permit should be revoked and your guns confiscated. You are irresponsible, lawbreaking and dangerous to yourselves and others and have no business owning a firearm.

  As a MN Firearms Safety instructor, these pigeon hunters made several mistakes.
  1. You never shoot across or down a public road. Ever. It is illegal in every state. The drone crashes into an oncoming vehicle, it’s your fault as well as any projectile that damages a vehicle or human.
  2. Hunting pigeons is legal. No shame in it. Aerial movies of your marksmanship is a bonus. They had a great opportunity to go on camera after the hunt to explain why the do what they did and ask for copies of the aerial pictures.
  3. The Braxton Plantation did take this group to court to prevent this and lost, so what they did was illegal and wrong. This display of disrespect does firearm owners no good. Anybody cheering this on is also cheering on another reason to have lawmakers put more restrictions on your second amendment rights, and you will deserve every bit of it due to your own ignorance.
  4. The hunt should have continued and if the drone flew where it wasn’t allowed, it could easily get shot down “by accident” while hunters were shooting at their intended pigeon targets. The drone would have landed on private property and it would then become the property of the Plantation owner. They shot at and destroyed property that didn’t belong to them while hovering over a highway. It was illegal and the reason why the guy with the red truck had the good sense to leave, not wanting to be accused or be associated with this illegal act. Cheer away your rights fools.

  Agreed! Pelosi/Reid Supermajority spent us into our current debt situation…not to mention then Senator Obama signed off on all that spending and blames Bush for signing what the DFL put on his desk.

  Roman Catholic here. I pray everyday and actually go to church at least once a week. I am ultra Conservative. I am no a neocon, I am against war and I think invading Iran is a sin. They have no nuke yet and once they do it will take them 10 years to get a delivery system, just like North Korea, who has nukes but no means to launch one effectively. Why? Because the Russian, and China don’t want that **** pointed at them and they will only help you so far. Same goes for Iran. They are no threat. Even if they had nukes, who cares, they would be blown to bits before they ever left their silo by Israel or us, both of whom have tactical nukes. NK has nukes, so we should invade NK before we invade Iran.

  Invading Iran will be the trigger for WWIII. You want to start another holy war with blood and treasure, then call it what it is and declare war on Islam. There is no country I know called “Terror”. This is my only point of contention with Glen Beck, who is a neocon. Mitt, Newt and Rick will invade Iran and take us to WWIII if Obama doesn’t first as an October surprise for re-election.

  Think Glen, anytime you take sides with a Democrat, you tread dangerous ground.

  Ron Paul is the only sane candidate to keep us from WWIII. None of the candidates, including Paul will save us from the coming default and economic collapse, but one and only one can soften the crash landing and minimize the damage.
