  I had a friend that attends UNO (Nebraska) show me her “critical thinking” textbook. It is chocked full of adoration and examples of Che, Chavez, Van Jones and the whole list of usual suspects. It is thier excuse for being able to say they ARE teaching critical thinking. It was truly frightening and disgusting. It is no wonder they are targeting Beck, critical thinking classes are the latest of the very powerful propaganda tools.

  Glenn has disappointed and pissed off a lot of people over his attacks directed at Newt Gingrich.

  It seems Glenn can have his own turning point in life, away from things like alcoholism, he can state time and time again how people learn and improve and can have thier turning points, growth and redemption, but as long as it is Newt Gingrich, it seems that is not allowed.

  We had Newt and Callista as guests of our 912 meeting shortly after the ruffle about his comment about Ryan’s budget. It was an intimate setting with about 50 grass roots organizers. They stayed for about 4-1/2 hours and we covered most everything in great detail.

  Without prompting, one subject Newt covered at length was his turning points; his grandchildren, his wife Callista, (who , by the way, is very personable and graceful), and his relationship with God. I don’t think there was a single person that left there that evening that did not have a new found liking and respect for both of them. These were all 912 members, very conservative Iowans, most with strong Christian beliefs and all with solid 912 principles and values; principles and values that allow people to improve and redeem.

  By attacking Gingrich and Santorum, Ron Paul, a carreer politician, is basically giving Mitt romney a boost. He must be doing what the Washington elite is telling him to do. Paul and the beltway boys have the same goals it seems; ensure a Romney nomination.

  Argue about gays and Ron Paul all day, this article is about neither.

  From the snarky tone of the liberal reporter when he said, “he’s not in Iowa any more”, it is blatantly obvious that this is more of the same liberal media on the attack. They were attacking when they tried to attach him to a sex scandal. The facts are irrelevant, the desired result was having Santorum’s name in the same sentence with the words “sex scandal”. They know from thier Alinski training that that is all people remember. They have degrees in these tactics.

  Santorum did well to dismiss the question and make them out to be as irrelevent as they are.

  There is no GOD? Whatever you decide your final arbitor is, is your God. True religion is, according to the Bible, care for the widowed and infirmed.

  Ther is no GOD because science cannot “prove” it?

  Science is merely man’s feeble attempt to quantify and meter the miracle that is life. Can you mathematically prove or quantify dreams? No, you can measure or meter REMS, twitches in the eyelids, relatively measure time you sleep etc. Can you prove imagination with science? No, you can simply quantify the results of applyiing that imagination. Happiness, can that be measured? No, it cannot, “science” can only measure the width of a smile, the superficial physical results of happiness. Science is nothing more than a tool, a ruler, a thermometer.

  Happiness, dreams, imagination, and God are all miracles that will never be “explained” by science, yet they all exist.
