I’m sorry but if you think the Civil War was primarily about slavery, you are sadly mistaken. It was about states rights and the rail road that was not going to pass certain cities in the south. Also the war is not called the Civil War in the south, rather it’s, “Lincoln’s War Of Aggression”. I cringe when ever Beck talks about Lincoln in a positive light. It was a war over big federal government vs states rights. People can paint it how ever they would like.
I’m starting to believe that more and more people look for ways to get offended.
People need to give him a break. If you are watching the news you are an adult. It’s an adult word, and honestly it’s not a table talk word to use, but, our nation is turning into a country where our asses our so tight that we could turn coal into diamonds. People need to start acting like adults and not weak children.(’HE SAiD A POTTY WORd!!!”). Some people I think just look for a way to get a offended, pop a lithium and chill out,
They’re trying to break the stereotypes that holding them back in life. Oh wait April 1st has already come and gone. Never mind…..
The people that didn’t help out are nothing but cowards. I can guarantee that this video would have had a different ending if me and the good ol’ boys in my neck of the woods were the, “on lookers”, because we wouldn’t be looking for that long.
Side note, who the hell visits Baltimore? Murder capital – honestly. Not the best of judgment being white and being in B-Town. That probably was his first mistake. Second to people that say carry, I live in VA and Maryland has crazy gun laws. Third if you are going to trashed to that level, you should probably be with someone that can watch your back. Fourth, I revert to point 1 – who the hell visits Baltimore?
If your kid is going to college I wish the older me would have told the younger me this to avoid a lot of pointless “finding myself” and stupid activity in college:
1) Find a good group of friends and stick with them, but never be afraid to be alone
2) Always know that if things get too crazy that you are welcome to come home and you won’t be bombarded with questions
3) The girl that is attracted to you and you didn’t have to try that hard may not be the best choice of a life long mate or that night…
4) If you want to go out to a club, learn to dance, like an actual dance such as salsa or swing, girls that only know how to hump the air (such as the video above aka not the type of girl you want your son to date) are less likely to go actual dance halls hense higher chance of a decent person you’ll end up meeting, and hey it might end up just being clean fun. My point is go to a dance club not a “club” where women go to give it up for free club.
5) Pick a major that is hard and that will get you a job and study
6) Get a job and start saving money make connections for your future job or create a job
7) Volunteer as much as you can
8) Take lots of pictures, but none that you will have to explain what you are doing or the context of why you are doing it.
9) College/frat parties are over rated make your own beer and wine :)
10) “Things change and friends leave and life doesn’t stop for anybody”
