Your statement that “God is good, but gold is greater.” Should tell everybody all they need to know about your view on things. I will pray for you. I will also pray that you read the Biblical account of the Golden calf. Then ask yourself which is greater.

Music is a universal language. It speaks of love, youth, old age, triumph and defeat. It tells you where you were when you first heard a song. It tells you who you were with and what you were talking about or thinking about. If you were driving your first car when that song came on, the memory of that car becomes clearer. You can almost smell the way the car smelled. Music passes through the ears, brain, heart and finally your soul. I am not surprised that the “enemy” was stopped by hearing a song from his youth. He could not help himself. We need to harness the power of music.
