  Forget the fact that we have our own corrupt politicians for a moment and think about how badly “Robin Hood” would fair in this situation –
  “reports said investigators found gold bullion and expensive jewellery at his home. State-run Xinhua news agency reported that he used his power to interfere with project contracts and to help companies and people obtain land, promotions and tax breaks.”
  Used his power to help companies and people obtain land, promotions and tax breaks…… certainly can’t have that in the communist party – it may cause the party to loose favor in the public eye?
  I don’t understand why anyone on here would like to bring any part of this to America!

  Remembering why I don’t watch White House press conferences……how have we come to a point where serving those you represent is now considered “…catering to segments of their own constituency” which they are could apparently not do if they wish to be considered leaders by some….yes dear spokesman we hate this about Washington! Listen to yourself spin things~ I made it 23 minutes and I’m so dizzy my stomach is turning.

  LOL – Ok, here are just a couple of things that strike me; hopefully you will understand why I chuckle.

  1 – Soros is now taking his cues from Glenn Beck: “people should be pursuing truth” ? Is he hoping to use that little quote to counter all the truth of his past dissertations on his “Open society” ideas? I don‘t think that’s really going to help

  2- Maybe the American form of government has survived so long because the people who want to see its demise still don‘t even realize it’s not actually “the world’s oldest democracy” – I say we save the money on influencing the political debate and simply introduce the word republic to those trying to demonstrate “what democracy looks like” –

  “What have you given us – A Republic ma’am; if you can keep it! “

  I wish he would not lecture and would instead say – we’re not going to be able to do it if we spend time villifying each other, so I will not speak again in terms of car wrecks and tea partiers and whoever Americans for Prosperity are? Wouldn’t that just sound so nice? Making the nice side of me want to say – looking forward to the debate!

  Public humiliation is likely the least of Paul Ryan’s concerns. I’m sure it was a bad idea for the President to stoop to that level, but the sad part is how unsurprising it is that someone is willing to go this far to try to defend such bad form.
