  • Who cares? They are a private company they don’t have to allow anything on their site. I noticed The Blaze didn’t post the picture that got her banned either. Personally if I owned facebook I wouldn’t have had a problem with the picture being posted, but I don’t. So people stop saying “Freedom of Speech” this has nothing to do with that. This is a private company which decided that they felt something violated their standards — nobody said she couldn’t post about her child or post pictures of her child, just that there was 1 picture (the same one the blaze apparently agreed and didn’t post) that they felt was too graphic.

  • People yapping about him comparing Allah and Yahweh…. uhm Pope John II said the exact same thing..

“… together with us they (Muslims) adore the one, merciful, God.” – Pope John II
    look it up

  • Name a time when I don‘t know Jon Voight was chased down by the media to be asked about conservative comments he’s made? Comparing “ambushing” celebs to “ambushing” politicians is just silly.

  • Why is it being a celeb makes you not entitled to having an opinion nor having any privacy… he spoke his mind. Right or wrong, that’s his right. When questioned about it, he tried to walk away. And was chased down and cornered, if I’m someplace and someone corners me and pushes a camera in my face, I’m pushing it out the way too. The problem with this country is, if this was Sarah Palin…the same people cheering this would be saying its harassment. And most of the people saying this is wrong would be cheering in, when reality – its simply just wrong no matter who’s on the other end of the microphone. If you want to ask Chris Rock questions invite him in for an interview otherwise he’s a private citizen and its his CHOICE to come and answer your questions or not. Following someone around because you don’t agree with their political views is harassment plain and simple

  • So..move your flag. Nobody is demanding he take it down just to fly it on his own property and not over the sidewalk and hanging halfway out into the street. It sounds like the business owner is the one in the wrong. If he was hanging a banner advertising his store than hung that far, he’d get the same ticket. It has nothing to do with the flag and to do with the law. Why wouldn’t he simply move his flag back a foot so its on his property?

  • How is it unheard of – the Senator before Obama was a Republican. I live in IL, didn’t vote for Kirk, honestly mostly because I didn’t want the GOP to control the Senate. Kirk is pretty much a Democrat with a R next to his name – if he doesn’t return to congress, Democrats will more than likely just retake the seat.

How are you people still this ignorant about health care reform?

  • @GHOSTOFJEFFERSON
And there are people there who say the same thing you say. There are a ton of the anti-fed, anti-taxes folks – I think they’re simply wrong. There was no package deal – I simply said you agreed that the tax code needs to be fixed, and you agreed that military spending should be cut. So I’ll ask again, why do you oppose people who are protesting for what you say you support? Oh Democrats are wisely using the protest to drum up energy among liberals and young voters ahead of 2012. But I wouldn’t say the anti-governement anarchists who are out there are on the same page as big government liberals. So to say just because democrats support it evryone out there is for more taxes and spending is dumb. But you apparently have no interest (or maybe lack the ability) to talk ideas, to debate the issues they are raise, or even have a civil conversation. I have never said my business has stockholders, I’m incorporated as an S-corp, which is what my tax issue is based on. I only employee about 22 people full time and countless contract workers, but us small businesses as a whole employ what 75% of the country? But i‘m sitting at an airport waiting to fly home thats the only reason I’m here. What are you basing your attacks on the protesters on? You seem to have no idea what they are protesting, who is there, or what changes they want? Yet you disagree with them (even when you agree with them)

  • @RICKMICH68
A bunch of people standing in the park? How are they trying to collapse the system? The idea that now we should suspend American’s right to protest because they can cost the city money is silly. I’m simply commenting on the things I heard from them which I support, why does it always have to be some conspiracy theory? I honestly don’t think “the system” is in danger of collapsing over some kid spending her columbus day off protesting. Or over some hippies who have gones to more protests than they’ve taken showers over the past 40 years. But those are the fringe minority of the people I saw there. So where are you getting your “their goal is to overthrow the system” from?

  • @TRENAWAY
I’ve been by one not for a long period of time by just a stop in – what are you basing your assumptions off of? Most of the people funding these things are rich liberals – you think they oppose money? You think Bll Gates is supporting it because he opposes capalitsm and is funding protests to end Microsoft? What about the CEO of Starbucks, you think he’s supporting it because he wants to end capitalism? Sure there are some anti-capitalism folks out there but the idea that thats the majority simply isn’t based on reality. As I said before its like saying tea party protests are simply based on racism because MSNBC showed a picture of someone holding a racist sign at a tea party rally. You have NO idea what they are protesting, so to just assume that they are against me or my business is a bit silly don’t you think?
