  • If Mitt Romney wins the primary race, it’ll be a huge victory for the banks and giant corpoations that bought and paid for him and a huge LOSS for We the People. If you’re really serious about returning to limited government, Ron Paul is the candidate to vote for, as his voting record has shown that he has always voted in favor of the Constitution.

All right, it seems that I’ve made an error featuring Article I, Section 8 within my earlier statement, thanks for pointing that out.
However, with all due respect, you’re sadly mistaken within your argument in which you mentioned that “there’s no Constitutional limitation on states or local governments from creating enforcement agencies,” as Article I, Section 10 forbids states from establishing standing armies (in which the Police fits this description):

“No State shall, without the consent of Congress…keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace…”

Hence, aside from the Article I, Section 8 error, this IS a resonable argument.

  • @DTOM Jericho (Creator Vindicator)

I’m assuming you and MacPappy are referring to the Constitutional powers of Congress in Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution?

“…To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years…”

If that’s the case, then you’re absolutely right. The police officers are so severely blinded by their lust for luxurious pensions and authoritative power that even the “good” police officers don’t understand that are literally violating the Constitution by simply being in the local police force. I think once people start to understand that the Constitution forbids the establishing of local police forces, we might be able to finally address the problems of the ever-expanding police state.

  • “Out of the six officers who responded to and were involved in handling Kelly, only two have been charged.”

Why not ALL SIX?! The security video, although the quality of it isn’t that great, WITHOUT A DOUBT, showed that ALL SIX officers took part in mercilessly beating Kelly to a pulp!
That said, I’m satisfied that Manuel Ramos and Jay Cicinelli, those two officers that ultimately caused Kelly’s death through the use of their subsequent assaults and severely excessive use of the Taser, are being charged with manslaughter and use of excessive force. I’m having a feeling that even the highest-skilled defense lawyer will find it almost impossible trying to justify their use of police brutality, as the police officer that was with him before reinforcements appeared was the one that initiated the scuffle. If the security video isn’t enough to put Manuel and Jay on trial, I don’t know what it will take to hold these two officers accountable for their bestial actions.

  • Sure, the Fourth Amendment mandate to get a warrant to track cellphones may “cripple” criminal probes in the eyes of most police officers, detectives, prosecutors, and Department of Justice officials, but I would much prefer being able to enjoy the assurance of having my person, papers, and personal effects (INCLUDING cellphones) secure from unjust and unwarranted searches and seizures over living under the fear of police departments conducting hasty and potentially sloppy probes through the use of unwarranted searches and seizures and using them as a reason to arrest a potentially innocent American.

“STOP POSTING LINKS. It, in my opinion, only shows that you can’t make an intelligent argument for anything that you stand for, and so you use clips, phrases, and speeches of others to speak for you. Tell us what YOU think so we can rip your ideas and thoughts to shreds.”

My ideas and thoughts within my argument has already been made, and I don’t use links to substitute my viewpoints, but ONLY as a means to support my argument. If you don’t want to watch any of the YouTube videos and/or read any of the articles that‘s within the links that I’ve posted, I have NO problem with that, as that is YOUR decision. However, from my viewpoint, your bashing of people for using links to support their arguments and telling them that they shouldn’t post their thoughts if they plan to use them only shows that you yourself are incapable of making an intelligent argument for anything that you stand for, and I find that to be not only pathetic, but childish as well. If you have a dissenting viewpoint to counter against my statement featuring the Tea Party movement, I would be satisfied to hear it.

  • @Disenlightened

Judging from your statement, I‘m assuming that you’re claiming that the YouTube video within the link that I’ve posted exposed an operative from the Mitt Romney campaign handing out fake Ron Paul delegate lists is a mere myth, despite your absence of proof to support your rebuttal?
Well, since that seems to be the case, I have more YouTube videos and an article exposing voter fraud in favor of Mitt Romney.

“Most of the leftists have declared the Tea Party DEAD; guess what? It’s not dead at all…”

Sorry to burst your bubble, SnowLeopard, but the Tea Party movement IS INDEED dead; if it isn’t, then its influence is far, FAR weaker than it once was when it was started five years earlier under Ron Paul in 2007, two years before the neo-conservatives hijacked the movement in 2009. It isn’t just the so-called “leftists” that are stating this – there are a massive number of consevatives and libertarians that are echoing this message as well.

  • “Now the presumptive nominee, Romney had no serious opposition…”

If the GOP was so certain about Mitt Romney winning the primary race, then why are Mitt Romney’s operatives spending their time handing out FAKE Ron Paul delegate lists?

  • @AtomPatriot76

You are absolutely SPOT-ON with that statement. As long as the churches refrain from the idea of allowing the government to use its power to ban same-sex marriage, the homosexuals won’t be spending as much time protesting against them for their right to have their marriage recognized by the government, and as long as the homosexuals refrain from allowing the government to use its power to force their viewpoints on churches that don’t want to marry them, the churches will be able to tolerate them more readily (I hope). If a pair of consenting adults of the same gender want to love one another, it’s their decision. I see no way in which a homogenous couple’s decision of getting married has affected me in any way, so there’s no reason for myself to be outraged towards it.
