  • @ Tommy – I’m not too sure about that. I believe there’s a hard core 20-25% that’s willing to destroy this country and 20-25% that’s willing to save it. It’s the 50% in the middle that will decide which direction we go. It‘s real EASY to type on a keyboard from a safe distance that you’re willing to whatever it takes whichever side you’re going. To actually DO it….different story. It would be real easy for a lot of folks to just continue down the path we’re currently going and go with the flow until it crosses a line of morality or loss of freedom to draw a line in the sand and say NO! Problem is, by the time that a REAL majority have had enough of where we’re going, is it going to be too late? Time will tell!

  • The problem with this region is that the Islamists/Arabians that want to harken back to the Caliphate during the Ottoman Empire outnumber those who actually want the Democratic/Multiparty system that we would like to see. The “Arab Spring” that the Liberals WANTED to see makes the Occupy Wallstreet people look like a coherant organized group of people. Look at Egypt, they killed over 70 people over a stupid soccer match last week. The problem with putting boots on the ground is that we never fight to win anymore. Ever since we dropped the bomb on Hiroshima & Nagasaki, we’re scared to make anyone mad over the killing of civilians. War is he!! If you make the decision to use our soldiers, you have to unleash the he!! on earth that is our fighting men and women to kill as few civilians as possible, kill as many enemies as possible, then deal with the aftermath.

  • Of course she’s for it. I’m sure she was also for all of the riots in Egypt that killed over 70 people over a soccer game. I’m also sure, she’s all for the Occupy Wallstreet movement and hopes this kind of “democracy” aka riots, happen all over the U S this year. More of that Hope & Change we were promised, whether we want it or not!

  • History is repeating itself. Wealthy Jews that can afford to leave get out before the real Holocaust begins. This time in Hugoland instead of Germany. The only difference? If allowed to, the numbers that will disappear/die will “only” be in the thousands instead of millions. When is America and the rest of the world going to wake up?

  • “Dang that ***** was crackalackin until she took my food away and started screamin! Now they’re trying to ship me back to Madagascar…again!” Unable to afford a top notch attorney, Marty the zebra had no choice but to be represented by the legal team of Alex, Gloria, & Melman.

  • Actually, this isn’t in Northern Virginia. It’s in Charlottesville, VA (within 50 miles of where I live). I will say, the way the people act, how the town is laid out, etc.. it reminds me very much of a miniture Washington DC. There’s a suburb just to the north of Charlottesville in the town of Keswick where several rich folks have homes along with horse farms in the county of Albemarle. Sissy Spacek, Howie Long, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, writer John Grisham, etc.. I don’t know the political leanings of these folks, but GENERALLY the rich and famous are Liberal left leaning or have to act that way to continue getting roles or jobs in their line of work. This is getting a little too close to home for me. I keep an eye on my kids homework assignments and so far I’ve only seen one assignment that was indoctination. It talked about social justice involving an immigrant farmer that unionized the fruit & vegetable pickers in California I believe in the 1920′s. The only way these kids came up with the lyrics was if their parents are coaching them from home. This is all just a big game for them. What‘s sad is that these folks are creating an environment that will cause their own demise and they’re too stupid to see it. If/when the Occupy crowds can create in small town America the chaos they did in big cities this past summer, the environment will be ripe for the Liberals to get the top down/bottom up situation they want.

  • @jungle j – All I can say is you better do some research before you open your trap. There are LOTS of diifferent spectrum disorders that fall under Autism. My son is autistic and he has none of the violent tendancies you describe. Are there some who do? Yes. There was no details as to what the child was being punished for, so we don’t know if violence was involved or not. Regardless, the form of punishment that was performed, is outrageous. Every Autistic kid is different, much like the so-called “normal” kids. There’s no perfect solution to what the school system can do. Classrooms are full of kids that are ADHD, obsessive compulsive, autistic, etc.. They deserve an education. I also see the other side of the argument that teachers don’t have the time to come up with a plan for each individual kid and their quirks. I also see teachers unions who are trying to get their teachers paid more money. The downside to that is, fewer numbers of teachers making more money that’s shrinking already short staffed school systems all over the country.

  • This is kind of like the old joke about the 2 scientists. One comes in the lab screaming “I’ve finally done it! I’ve created an acid that will eat through anything!“ The other scientist says ”Great! What are you going to store it in?” I don’t think God will have to lift a finger, we’re going to destroy ourselves somehow in the long run.

  • Well Anonymous, that would make this generation the Twix generation. Two for me, none for you! Or the Mine & Yours generation. The problem is, these protestors don’t want equality for all….they want to just be part of the so-called 1%.

  • Tatertot – I agree with you to a point. These guys are safer than they ever were. However, Indy used to be the fastest track they were on. It‘s a flat track and there’s only so much speed they can carry without losing control. In my opinion, it’s the combined control that these cars have and the fact that they are now racing on much larger tracks that have a lot of banking and pushing the speed envelope that creates these situations. Remember when they first tried to race in Texas with Indy cars? They were carrying so many G’s in the corners that the drivers were borderline passing out in the cockpit. The Indy League was desperate. They needed ratings and they risked the drivers safety to get them. The drivers were complaining before the race about the speed and the inability to get away from the other drivers. Sounds a lot like restricter plate racing in NASCAR doesn’t it? Richard Petty said years ago that he wouldn’t drive one of those “coffins on wheels” and I wouldn’t either. They could slow these guys down IF they wanted to. The easiest way is to take away the width on the tires. Less contact with the track, means less control in the turns. You either lift off the accelerator, or you hit the wall. Another way in NASCAR would be to take the spoiler off the back of the car. I’m would assume they could change the angle or make it smaller in the Indy car series too. These racing series‘ need to slow these car’s down or this will happen more ofte
