  • Yes! So true!

  • It’s pretty common for companies to not immediately report a hack – understandably, they don’t want their customers to immediately panic, and they certainly don‘t want to announce a hack when they don’t know for certain what happened. It often takes a few days at least to discover what exactly was accessed. It also doesn’t hurt the customer to not know immediately. If anything were to get charged to your credit card, you can always claim theft through your credit card company or bank and the money will be returned to your account.

  • Yes, pitbulls were originally bred for fighting and protection, so they are definitely more prone to violence than other breeds… that being said, it’s all in how you raise them. I’ve known very vicious labs, normally the sweetest dogs around, that would be more than happy to attack a person if they had the chance. Same with German Shepherds, etc. I’ve been around some incredibly sweet pitbulls that would never attack a person. Some people just shouldn’t have dogs, of any breed!!! This is an awful, terrible thing to have happen, and those owners need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If you’re going to raise your dogs to be vicious and are irresponsible enough to have them running loose, you deserve whatever you get.

  • I’m a woman and I totally laughed at the airplance joke!!! :) Lighten up people!

  • agreed!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love how these hackers are attacking Sony for some supposed limitation on their freedom and in return are intruding on MY PERSONAL INFORMATION and freedom to use my machine. I really appreciate them sticking up “our rights” by ruining my belongings. It’s great! Jail break your own machine if you want to, or whatever it is that you believe you should do, but when you post that information on the internet for every tom, richard, or harry to use you have to realize that your placing a lot of power in peoples’ hands who might completely abuse it. It’s not responsible, it’s not safe. So when the company comes after you for placing that information on a world wide forum, you shouldn‘t throw such a little girl fit that it once more affects every other user’s life. It’s selfish, stupid, irresponsible… and guess what – now that you‘ve stolen a bunch of peoples’ personal information – it’s now a crime. Thank you oh so much Anonymous.

  • Obviously West is not asking us to give our children away at the age of nine or any of the truly reprehensible things that Spartan society took part in – the point is that our country is sadly lacking in real men! We need strong women to stand up and raise strong men! A good reminder to teach our sons those “warrior” traits that are too often neglected – toughness, honour, respect, endurance, pride (not arrogance), core beliefs, a willingness to fight for something!

  • There’s no law that says churches cannot hire unmarried pastors, but is often the church’s stance that married men can best serve the church, having had the experience of being a husband and leader of the family. It would look a bit hypocritical to have a pastor preaching how to love your wife if he had never actually had the day to day experience and trials that go along with being married. If this guy can’t understand that, maybe he doesn’t have the wisdom and discretion it takes to be a pastor and should consider another field.

  • CJWOODS you are right on. Thank you! “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” also comes to mind. And I‘m pretty sure there’s something about not inciting your brother to wrath. Granted, we cannot expect muslims to respect Christianity any time soon because of our good behavior, but that doesn’t mean that we need to join the game of desecrating symbols.

  • I read a great book called “the Kite Runner” by a guy who escaped out of Afghanistan many years ago. It’s a true story, and a little horrifying, providing a real life look into the lives of muslims in countries like that. I cannot remember the author‘s name but he’s written a few books like it, and they are all eye opening and amazing.
