  Amateur, puppet etc., they all fall in the same category. Whether Obama is working on his own beliefs or is directed by other larger forces doesn’t really matter. It is still up to the American people to choose the president. If the American people are sheep, they deserve to be so no matter which way the country steers. In politics in a free society, like America likes to be seen as, it is, after all, the people who speak every four years. If Americans truly want their politicians accountable, they would be impeaching these crooks in class-action suits. But like the blind sheep always are, these crooks are re-elected over and over again. So, who’s to blame?

  I agree 100%. One only has to visit a communist country to see what that system is all about. There is NO freedom of individuals, even among the elitists, as everybody will snitch on everybody else and everybody is being watched with suspicion. I visited a communist country where we had talk in whisper, because the owner of his house was afraid that some “spy” would be suvailing his house with foreign visitors. The average citizen in a communist country is a slave and nothing more.

  People, people! Don’t be so stupid. The best way to show your displeasure with such rediculousness is to NOT buy anything at this staion. It is beyond me that any fool would pay such a premium for gas when there are so many others nearby. If you only did this, I wonder how long it would take before the idiot who owns the station would lower his prices? Put the dumbbell out of business.

  This reminds me a lot of how Americans were laughing at Japanese products years ago, especially their cars. Well, it sure didn’t take long for Japanese cars to take over America, did it? How about all kinds of goods and technology? Well, Japan has caught up to America with their labor costs, while China is still way cheaper in labor and America is funnelling its manufacturing and technology there. It won’t be too long before the Chinese will surpass America with their military as well as goods. Try to buy anything today, even higher quality stuff, and you’ll see the little mark somewhere that says “made in China”. Why do you think that GM is thinking of importing their Buicks from China? This is just the beginning. Open your eyes America!

  The problem, as I see it, is in the design itself. It boggles the mind that after so many decades developing these sophisticated planes, such basic problems happen. The military wants one plane that will do everything for its defence department. So, every time a new plane is developed, it is designed from scratch. It is an obsession of the US to be the tops in technology and scrap anything that is a decade old. Where do you think all those F-14, F-15, F-16 and F-18s are ending up? A multi-billion dollar graveyard in Tucson. Also, look at the costs of these new planes. How many billions were blown away on the B-1? How many times was it used in combat where a B-52 would do the job?

  THE best candidate, whether democrat or republican or other, is one who stand proud of the times America was the no 1 nation in the world! You don’t have to go back that long, just remember the 50s to 70s. Americans were proud to work hard and play hard. Since then, with the involvement in Vietnam especially, America has become a loser. Not only did Americans get booted out of the far East, but America became a playing field for far too many immigrants, people and goods that invaded the country. America lost its purpose of being the greatest country in the world. American freedom is a misnomer when foreigners invade the country and get to rule “their” way. Go to many other countries and try to impose American freedom and see what happens. Lastly, all candidates today make promises only to break them, just to get the top seat. That is not what America is about, never has been either. America needs to get back to the ideals that it was built on in the constitution and nothing less. The country cannot be legislated by foreign self-interests, whether political, religious or otherwise. Instead we have the so-called experts like Beck and Santorum debating issues that they don’t agree with.

  WOW! Reading all these comments from experts on religion, the bible and faith, I’m more confused than ever. Why are there so many commenters calling others idiots? There is little respect for some peoples’ opinions and comments. How Beck sees a situation may only be his opinion of it, not necessarily the TRUTH. Another person might see the same situation in a different way, but it doesn’t mean they are stupid. When it comes to the bible, why so many differing opinions? The only ones with the true meaning of the bible are the ones who wrote it. The modern understanding of the bible is open to all the believers, including the ones who believe their own version of their faith.
