  Even better yet limit all donations to a set dollar amount all from with in the state they represent no outside contributions set the amount to just $10.00 per citizen in their district and make sure that amount is not exceed. Limit the president to the same $10.00 per citizen no out side donations allowed. this will reduce the outside influences and make the candidates spend their money wisely no more billion dollar war chest to take with them when they lose or retire all of that money goes into the treasury to pay down the National debit. And follow the Constitution where it states a term in the house is for two years and in the senate six years nowhere does it state that they can run over and over again making a career of being a politician. Two years only in the house then they can run for the six in the senate then the eight years as president then life time as a judge but only “On Good behavior” the Constitution was designed to make the Nation for the people not the politicians as they have perverted it into.
