University Study Determines Fox News Has Least-Informed National Audience Based on These Questions
May 24, 2012 at 1:51pm
I guess a bunch of people will now try to use this to invalidate Fox News as a Wikipedia reliable source, as they tried to last time. Almost no-one got more than 2 right? Doesn’t seem to follow from the breakdown.
What seems more interesting is that REpublicans appeared (at least from the first couple of questions) to know more than Democrats. Since I’m not sure of all of the answers myself, could someone check on this? It wasn’t totaled anywhere.
Something tells me they didn’t ask about Fast and Furious.
Penn Jillette Goes on Epic Anti-Obama Tirade: ‘States’ Rights Don’t Mean Jack S**t to the Obama Administration’

Of course the civil war was over slavery. Look at the Lincoln/Douglas debates. To put it another way, why did the South secede as soon as Lincoln was elected?

To me, it sounds like an argument for better enforcement of the drug laws. Imagine, no Obama.

It’s a problem for people in New York, since a lot of employment is from the banking industry. Howver, I suspect a lot of the people there are employed in Jewelry importation and consumer electronics.
That is what you meant, right? You weren’t just making a stupid anti-semitic crack?

You quoted Ha’aretz, an ultra-leftist, anti-religious newspaper that carries a guy (Levy) who basically writes treason? And talks about Sodom when the Jewish Bible says that the sin of Sodom was being against charity?
So when you write about some Catholics, you quote some anti-Catholic denomination as a counter?

Oh, please, they would listen to us? You know what lapsed Catholics are like? Got the idea?
Besides, asking an Orthodox Jew to convince a Reform Jew is like asking a Catholic to quote the Pope to a Lutheran.

May I remind you that Debbie Whatsername-Schultz just blamed the Orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn (the one I grew up in) for the loss of a specail election? And they voted for a Catholic over one of their own?
Of course, they still REGISTER Democrat. In the big cities, a lot of Conservatives register Domocrat in order not to be disenfranchised in local elections.
