  • Iran Reportedly Releases Two American Hikers

    September 21, 2011 at 10:38am

Seriously. I mean, WHO goes “hiking” in a war zone? These nitwits should’ve been left to rot. Instead, they’ll probably end up getting their continued 15 minutes of fame and become the Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton for some loony left-wing-envirowacko causes. Marvelous. *sigh*

  • I’m with you, Uncercover. We were big Beck fans, having attended the 9/12 and 8/28 rallies in DC. However, my idea of enjoying Glenn is NOT on my iPhone or sitting in my office chair staring at a 21″ screen! I have a very nice 52″ plasma with very comfortable Lazy Boy for things like that, and buying yet another gizmo so that I can watch Glenn Beck is nuts.

I wish GBTV well, but he had better be gunning for the up-and-comers, because he lost me when he left FNC.

  • Indeed. Posts like this are exactly why I read the stories and have given up on reading any comments. The majority are inane and a few, like this one, are apparently from weirdos bent on some personal agenda and will take any opportunity to blather. I have better things to do than entertain insanity.

No wonder so many think that Tea Party supporters are idiots.

  • No, unfortunately there will have to be a successful “implant bombing” incident before anyone will have the cojones to suggest that maybe profiling is the obvious answer. The whiney ******** would much rather have hundreds — or thousands — of innocent civilians murdered than to risk offending the peace-loving Muslims of the world.

  • Want to See John Edwards’ Mug Shots?

SO glad to see that his hair wasn’t messed up …

  • “Let them alone as long as they don’t stay long or detract from others viewing and visiting our national monuments.”

Anybody remember a small group of students who paused on the steps of the Supreme Court last summer and quietly prayed — and were told to leave?

“After a group of students praying on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court building was confronted by police and told what they were doing was illegal, the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) sent a letter to officials of the high court …”

If I were visiting Washington and confronted a small group quietly praying by themselves on the steps of the Supreme Court, no, it wouldnl’t detract from my visit. However, were I stopping by the Jefferson Memorial and had to endure this assembly, then YES, it would detract from my visit.

Every generation has its hippies …

  • Didn’t see much that resembled “dancing” there. Let’s see … the (presumed) organizer of this demonstration announces that “… we can take the government down,” and this is endorsed by a sitting US Congresswoman? Surprise, surprise …

  • The only problem is, the conservatives are the only ones who even recognize the hijinks and corruption that has overtaken the Democrat party. Look at the ones still in office, despite their belief systems and/or shenanigans — Reid, Pelosi, Frank, Schumer, Boxer, Rangel, Jackson-Lee, etc. Their actions are only unconscionable to us. The left revels in their antics.

If Weiner mans-up and leaves, his place will be taken by one of a thousand equally repulsive candidates, just champing at the bit.

  • LOL. Good one.

Truth is, the women just followed the Tupperware salesmen around Africa and stopped when they got tired. After awhile, they’d get bored and take up with the Fuller brush salesmen who would stop by the village and move on.

Besides, the men HAD to stay in their caves. If they hadn’t, they would never have been called CAVE MEN. And then there wouldn’t be any cave men in Geico commercials. And unemployment would be even higher than it is now.

    Elementary, actually. :-)

  • Goshen College has been this way for years. In recent history, however, they have expanded their “diversity” by actively recruiting international students in order to further their world view. They do some good things for the local communities, but overall, they’re basically irrelevant.

This action only reinforces that. Their world view does not mesh well with mine, but as a private institution, they have that right. And, as my right, I choose to ignore the Birkenstock-wearing, granola-munching peaceniks who waste their money on an education there.
