  • I once thought like that! As a nation we are under the wrath of God and he is giving us what we desire. Read Romans 1.

God’s wrath comes in the form of blindness to our own sins. First of which is loving God with all our heart, soul and body. We worship ourselves and maintain ourselves on the throne of our heart rather than God. That is what Christ came to fix so we could be relation with the father and make requests of him in prayer. Without relationship with the father unlikely prayers will be answered.

You can put your trust in Christ and pray for your fellow man.

  • It is understanding what it says in Romans 1 about the wrath of God. We think of it as Hell fire and Brimstone, but it can be God hardening our hearts and blinding us from the truth and leaving us to our sad state. I see it over and over again and pray that I don‘t fall prey to Satan’s schemes.

  • And some wonder how a Jew will accept another God in the rebuilt temple. Sin blinds us from the truth (Romans 1) we must repent and accept the offering of Christ Jesus a propitiation for our sins. We must humble ourselves before God All Mighty and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. The hour is growing late.

  • The decision to oust Nugent came after “recent disparaging remarks made against the commander in chief,” Ryan Brus of the Fort Knox public affairs office said.

Because the concert is taking place on a military installation, it “would be a conflict of interest since the military has the obligation to be apolitical,” he said.

By ousting they are making a political statement and are not being APOLITICAL. Positive statements OK negative ones are not; that is political.

  • The thing that gets me is that people want safe community so here is a guy actively trying to protect is community. See something suspicious so he checks it out. How do people think your going to protect your community! I think that would be great questions to ask these people and others? How do you do it.

Because 90% of the time police are there after the crime happens to fill out reports an investigate. No slam on police because they have their hands full. These people want safe communities but don’t have a clue how that is done.

  • What a joke. We have brothers in Christ in Jos and this most certainly religiously motivated. A Brother in our fellowship was born in Nigeria and his father was a missionary doctor opening hospitals in Nigeria. The worse part is the weapons used in many of the attacks are coming from Libya. They poured into Nigeria. Thanks State Department for our involvement in Libya.

It is sad the brothers in Jos were afraid to have there Easter Conference and they prayed before they went to the conference not sure whether they would meet Jesus that day. We have been praying for the brothers doing security that they would have discernment and wisdom. No bags or cell phones are allowed at the meetings. It is not a good situation. The radical Muslims are trying to pull the Christians into a religious war. We have been praying every week for the brothers and that the Muslims would come to know the TRUTH that is in Jesus Christ. It is sad our State Dept choose to lie about this. Please pray for the Saints so they will not retaliate.

  • He doesn’t want to wait. Yeah neither do we for our government cheese. LOL

  • My concern is there an effort to debase gold to move us ton one world currency!

  • SNOOOP1E: It is an act of humility and reverence for God. We have nothing to offer to God that he doesn’t already have. We offer our sacrifice of doing without to help us focus on him and draw near to him. “Absolute Surrender” and “Humility” by Andrew Murray (1828-1917) Touches on fasting but more our relationship with God. Murray was an anointed pastor from South Africa. If more Christians read works like his we would think differently about our relationship with God. We don’t think BIG enough. The audio books are in the public domain and can be downloaded for free from Librivox.

  • 1 Corinthians 11

23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread,24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is fort you. Do this in remembrance of me.”t 25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord.28 Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.29 For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.

The priest was showing her mercy.
