  I have a little bit of a different perspective on this. I own a small business doing apartment and rental clean outs. If y’all could see the condition of 85% of the units we service, you would never allow your child to eat out of a kitchen you did not personally know was clean. And I’m not talking the lower socio-economic strata either. I hate a nanny state but please bear this in mind next time you attend one of these sales.

  @ Gay, They need to keep church and state separate. If they want to allow gays civil unions, I’m all for what the electorate decide. However, if any religious institution refuses to marry gay couples, then they have that right. I was married by a JP, therefore, my church does not recognize my marriage of 34 years!
