  Looking at the video is more than I can stand given the way it is described. I no longer eat meat just because I believe that any living thing that is between a person and money is in trouble. The person will anything to maximize the money regardless of the action’s impact on the living thing. It is also true that anyone who abuses an animal will abuse a person. Don’t eat pork and there will be no need for pig farms.

  Had I not had a college education, I would not have had the opportunity I had. It’s that simple. There are lots of smart people. Not everyone is an entrepreneur or even has the exposure to want to be an entrepreneur. Some are just looking for a job. And some learn that OPPORTUNITY does not always exist. A college degree gave me opportunity. I never stopped thanking my management for the opportunities that led to a very rewarding work life. It would be interesting to know how many have had the same experience. Now I’m an old person, so this may not be true today.

  Generally, I would agree with you, but there is a time when Christianity has to be defended. The description of this picture is so offensive that I find it difficult to understand why the FCC tolerated it. It sounds to me like pornography. I am deeply ashamed of Stewart. I thought he was better than that.

  This breaks my heart. I followed the stories surrounding this calf’s birth and the celebration of his birth with great interest. It never occurred to me that anyone could do such a horrible thing. Deepest sympathy to the Lakotas.

  “Overrides Congress” is the key phrase here. Will Congress ever defend their role in our republic or will they just let the dictator go unchallenged? We’ll be lucky to have any semblance of an election by November.

  Suppose the commander-in-chief gave an illegal order. Would the military member be able to use that as protection for his/her actions? I don’t think so. I believe military members must NOT obey illegal orders. AND, a “less-than-honorable” discharge will limit this man’s life in many ways for the rest of his life. I do not believe it is fair by any stretch of the imagination. Obama has done worse with our tax dollars and received a whole lot less “punishment” for it. Obama should be “punished” for his refusal to honor his oath to uphold the constitution of the USA, IMO.

  The sad thing about Chris Matthews is that he can’t see anything Obama does that is anti-American while many of us can’t see anything that Obama does that is NOT anti-American. How could he have been born here and met the requirement as it was intended to be met by the framers???? Wherever he was born, he is not what I consider to be an American.

  We didn’t miss his intent. He is a well-trained community organizer; he uses Saul Alinsky’s rules quite well; he started his Saul Alinsky routine on the SCOTUS; and he did not get away with it. I wonder how long it’s going to be before someone calls him what he is: a lying thug.
