  What’s the difference in this and, say, being a guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier? Those guys can’t ever drink or swear for the rest of their lives. So they want people of character with principles and values in align with theirs, what’s wrong with that? Sounds like the college has standards not to let any of these other crack-pot liberals in to spout their lies and spread the communism and marxism that most other places of higher learning are allowing to happen now days. More power to them.

  North Carolina used to never be in the news unless one of our sports teams made the playoffs or one a championship or a hurricane hit our coast. Ever since Obammy got elected he’s spent way too much time down here, drawing unneeded attention. Now, with the help of Bev Perdue and the constant Democratic legislature my state has turned into some sort of socialist/communist testing ground. With crap like this and all the regulation and taxes we have in our state someone could easily mistaken it for a New England state or something. Getting really tired of it. My roots are very deep here and I don‘t won’t to leave it but its getting to a point where none of this crap makes much sense, just control and tax more. Why does this state need an office of diet and nutrition or whatever? I think back to that 4 year old several weeks ago that had to eat cafeteria crap food instead of their lunch from home. Ridiculous.

  @JZS An oligarchy is what you say is happening in this country? I could see that with the Bush’s, Clinton’s, Rockefellers, etc. But I disagree that republican policy alone is making the middle class smaller. Its the policies of both parties that are assisting the rich to get richer. MF Global comes to mind when I think of a democrat ripping off the American people and the gov’t allowing it.

  These folks need to be taught the entire book of Proverbs. Lots of teaching in there about mockery, foolishness, sloth, pride, foul-mouths, etc. etc. I was trying to find a specific verse but found the whole book applies.
