  • Joe1234,
I think these sites are hilarious! Did you know that IHOP promotes John Wimber materials!

  • I have been to IHOP numerous times, now. The most recent was in May for their Israel and End Times conference which was lead by David Pawson. IHOP is extremely Pro-Israel. Their 24/7 prayer and worship movement is after David’s set up with the temple worshippers. They are pre-millenialists not post, Theoph. They are charismatic in their beliefs so those of you who are cessationists will have a hard time with the signs & wonders that occur there. (By the way, signs & wonders do occur in the Bible.) For those of you who scoff at the amount of time they spend in prayer and worship, they also have inner city ministries, mission trips, a Bible school, a coffee and a real estate office among other things. They often partner with YWAM (Youth with a Mission) and The Call (Lou Engle) which is a youth anti-abortion, pro-youth leadership movement. For those of you who call Mike Bickle a false prophet, whatever. He has said he is not one and has admitted that you take the words of someone who says he is very cautiously. IHOP is not a cult, I know at least 10 young adults who are doing one of their internships or who have done. A lot of the stories you heard aren’t true. Perhaps you’d like to research them yourself : http://www.ihop.org. I realize not everyone will appreciate their style, but you do not need to be nasty about it. Also…I need biblical proof that they are unbiblical. I have yet to find any…so if you do let me know. :)

  • IHOP does not support Dominion theology. They are premillenalists not post. They do not believe that most of Revelation has happened. You need to listen to some of their teachings. I have been down there numerous times, last for their Israel and End Times conference this May, lead by speaker David Pawson. As for the worship they follow David’s example when he set up the temple worshippers. 24/7 prayer & worship. They also have a Bible School, various inner city ministries, and missions trips. They are extremely Pro-Israel. They also have developed a partnership with YWAM (Youth with a Mission), The Call (Lou Engle). I have yet to find any of their teaching unbiblical. My husband is a pastor and I am a youth leader in our community. I think, not just you, Theoph, but others, should research things for themselves, cautiously, before listening to what others say…so here’s their website http://www.ihop.org.
