  I am afraid that Will Cain, Shumer et al are the assess in this situation. When a Government starts to treat their people as pawns and assets to be worked and taxed (aka chattels or slaves) they give up all moral authority to criticize the action of the slaves voting with their feet. The fact is that when you make life unacceptably complex or hard within your State, people will leave – it has happened throughout history worldwide and many of such migrants BUILT the USA – get over it. Of course, using new laws like the FATCA one that comes into force next year, the US is seeking to enslave ALL people in ALL countries regardless of citizenship by imposing significant new banking costs on them and deeming a new category of person beyond US citizens and beyond legal US residents (or even illegal US residents for that matter) and now including people as “US Persons” merely because they spend more than 31 days in a year in the US or have a “Care Of” address in the US or might have a US Phone number (like maybe magicJack for example used to call their relatives, friends and business vendors in the US). These newly anointed US Persons (who are NOT US citizens or residents) will now have to employ Lawyers and Accountants to file financial returns with the IRS each year ….. this is an outrage and WILL alienate business from the US and will alienate America’s FRIENDS around the world. The US is transforming into a new version of the USSR. This misguided behavior grieves me.

  You mean like the US is currently doing threatening the worldwide banking system with FATCA costs and unlawful taxation? The US needs to clean up its own house fast. The US is needed but it must regain some sense of MORAL authority but it cannot do that whilst breaching with (economic) force the Sovereignty of other nations.

  Really ! So what are the Chinese doing that the US has not already done around the world? Stealing technology? think about the German Rocket Scientists after WWII that were grabbed and shipped to the US and who were the initial bedrock for the foundation of NASA – think about all the technology that the US got from Britain in the last couple centuries – think about all the stuff that Western Powers (including the US) took from China over the last three hundred years (what do you think the purpose of the US Clipper ships was?) …. and the Opium wars … think about the attempts by US business to patent DNA and other biological elements from people and other living things around the world. Again, I have no love for the Chinese but I do not like the self righteous whining especially when the US’s own house is so dirty already with extra territorial grabs at the international banking system like the FATCA regulations and the total disrespect for the Sovereignty (and the Savings denominated in US$) of other nations. And the US Voter is kept ignorant and baffled by Carnival Barkers and Three Card Tricksters whilst THEIR savings and work over the centuries is devalued as the Fed Printing Press creates more decorative toilet paper with which to fool the people again. The arrogance is outrageous.

  I think that you guys need to get a little more real …… I don’t like the UN generally but I am now coming to pray that the UN will tell the US to get lost in terms of the FATCA legislation that was passed as part of the “Jobs” bill last year. There are no international sovereignty grabs worse than those initiated by the US. The FATCA legislation seeks to impose massive costs and/or penalty taxes (in violation of existing Tax Treaties that the US has in place with a number of countries around the world) on ALL people in ALL countries world wide. The FATCA rules are GOING to severely reduce the US economy over the coming 5 / 10 years or so as the rest of the world wakes up and redirects their economic activity (tourism, investment and purchasing of goods and services) away from the US. The US tried isolationism in the early 1900s and found that it does not work – it still will not work today. The FATCA rules are alienating America’s FRIENDS.

  BTW why should the Law of the Sea HQ not be in Jamaica or Cayman or anywhere else in the world? Why should these international institutions all be in the US or Europe thus causing severe redistribution of members’ dues and Ambassadorial expenses FROM poorer countries TO the US and Europe. What arrogance.

  Stupid is she who stupid does. No sympathy from me.

  BTW it looks like a Jamaican wrote the article or parts of it :

  Example 1 “Violet D’Mello with one of the cheetahs before she was attack. (Photo: Archie D’Mello via Daily Mail)” – this is missing the “ed” at the end of the word attack.

  Then to example 2 “A guide at the game park in the Indian Ocean town of Port Elizabeth managed to pulled the second cat off Mrs D’Mello” – the word pull has an inappropriate “ed” ending.

  This total misunderstanding of when a verb should have the past tense version with the “ed” at the end is typical of a certain group. I hope that this sort of perversion of the language does not go viral and begin to corrupt the language of the other English speakers in the world.

  King Obama is using populist rhetoric that is simply mind numbingly incorrect. The fact is that NOTHING has ever been done without the energy and economic boost provided by free enterprise and the profit motive; the resulting trickle down effect …. including the taxes that have tickled into the Government coffers to fund stuff like the Armed Forces and NASA … is what has enabled the creation of the middle class. The USA was founded as a FREE country away from the slavery (serfdom) that was common throughout the world in earlier centuries. King Obama and his court of clowns, communists and other three card tricksters are fighting to roll back US prosperity into a centrally commanded economy and society like the former USSR which itself was an abject failure. Stand up to flush the toilet this year ….. the word needs to be to VOTE FOR ANYBODY EXCEPT the Democrats.

  I find this amazing- other countries including countries (such as Jamaica) with mainly black or mixed race populations have electoral ID cards with photo, finger prints and other data – and, in Jamaica’s case, the electoral officers and representatives of both main political parties visit the homes of the prospective voters to verify that they in fact belong there. These cards serve all sorts of other purposes as an official ID for banking, when using a credit card in a store and so on. Yet the poor old USA cannot get this simple validation exercise approved …..

  I do verily believe that the Constitution does NOT demand “separation of church and state” but rather prohibits the ESTABLISHMENT of a religion by the state. This of course would follow the concerns raised when Henry VIII of England wanted to marry for the umpteenth time despite the objection of the Pope. Dear Henry therefore ESTABLISHED the Church of England (read Anglican, Episcopalian, Protestant) religion as the religion of England, declared himself Defender of the Faith and head of the Church, married again and proceeded to generally antagonize Catholics at home and abroad. I myself am an Anglican / Episcopalian but truly realize the error of allowing a King (read Federal Government or even President Obama) to ESTABLISH a religion ….. ever again. None of this is to banish prayer or religious observance from any public place.

Sadly however u forget that Obamacare now allows the Princeling to act by Executive Order these days (sans Congress) by merely linking your religion to healthcare in some way, shape or form. PLUS Do not forget the activist judges and teachers …. have u seen the recent case of a Muslim Judge in Penn freeing a Muslim assailant and chastising the Christian victim ….. Judge Martin I think is his name.
