  I & my wife knew from the beginning to only make rules that we could enforce, & we intended to enforce otherwise like any human being; your children will test the water to see what they can get away with-also you must lead by example, which is the most powerful tool. Outside of that the sanctions are up to the family, but you can’t follow your children around 24/7 & whatever they do is by their choice & a collection of experience.

  Different handguns operate differently when you load and chamber a round and then place the safety on. If you have never handled a Makarov 9×18 and I gave you a magazine with 8 shells and told you to chamber a round and put it on safe-out of ten people I could find one person who would shoot off a round while they were doing this process; hopefully not at themselves or someone else.

  Keep in mind you are also analyzing the light being reflected or produced from that distance 22+ years ago(depends on how far away the object is); we are never analyzing anything from that distance or greater in real time. Light doesn’t travel faster to just get analyzed-as far as we know that planet or planets even further away could be gone by the time we see the image (light) of its demise.

  @cofemale–hence why some people live in HOA neighborhoods (like my brother-in-law I can’t stand & his wife, their children all little brats have no idea about the real world. Their family fights & bickers & hate each other & are continually trying to compete with each other & appearances mean everything). Then I decided to leave that world & live in the country with crazy people with RV’s & vehicles on blocks with unkempt yards. They butcher their deer in the back yard after the hunt & I have chickens & goats 5 dogs & a rifle or shotgun over every door in case a critter comes or something from the city wanders into my neck of the woods. My wife & family have fun & there is no HOA anywhere to be seen for 150 miles–just the way we like it. (this is a post in jest-but true).

  We all know about as much as we want to about Stonehenge; since no one alive was ever even close to there when it was built or have any legible writings about its use–everything we deduce about it is a HUGE ‘educated’ (I use that term loosely) guess. Just like sciences’ theory of the beginning of life. Science fact is a term I like to throw around like Herman Cain does with relationship issues.

  This is not just this administration. I worked at a full depot for awhile where crypto equipment was repaired. This circuitry goes into many military items. Our parts come from all over the place-it was not like that all the time but even before the last three administrations the DoD started to LoBall & privatize. Contracts are nothing more than $$ signs or political favors. Our enemies see a weakness & are just capitalizing on our ignorance. The loser is the US soldier. The temporary winner is a politician, donor and/or voting lobby. I tested every part before I used it–not everyone does. EOS.

  I am not even a country fan; but I am now a Hank Williams Jr. fan. I am going to go buy his complete library of music. I am no longer watching FOX & friends (FOX & fiends).

  I would ban watching ESPN-but I like Husker football and trying to not watch sports affiliated with ESPN is like trying not to drink milk affiliated with cows.

  Wait–am I comparing ESPN to cows & sports to milk? We slaughter cows to make hamburgers & maybe I am secretly trying to tell people to kill ESPN and make them into patties. OMG, Hitler lived in Hamburg, Germany & milked cows & enjoyed sports.

  Where is this rabbit hole going? Hamburg, from the first permanent building on the site, a castle whose construction was ordered by the Emperor Charlemagne in AD 808. (It always ends with a bullet to the head.)

  Anyone can build an EMP or a signal jammer-the problem is they are illegal for civilians to own. You only need a little education in electronics, basic understanding and limitations of military targets and voi’la you can be a problem. But Nations have large budgets and resources; our enemies lie at the wait to strike. When our military is at its weakest-our Nation is at its breaking point-Our people ready to accept bondage; that is when our enemy will strike. No communications, no modern conveniences, no food-water-security, shelter under attack. NO, we are not ready for an EMP; but I get closer to ready everyday.
