  • I get what you are saying, I just vehemently disagree with your reasoning. I think Christians have to be discerning in calling righteousness GOOD and evil-doing BAD and shout it to the rooftops, not just quietly accepting that the world is an evil place. “Let your light shine” is in word and deed. If Christians don’t stand for RIGHTEOUSNESS then evil wins. Just alittle bit of true history for your education: The First Crusade came about because the Eastern Empire was being attacked by MUSLIMS and the Eastern Emperor begged the Western for assistance. If the Pope had not rallied the troops of Europe (Catholic) to the Crusade, then you and I would be MUSLIM. Christianity would have disappeared from the earth (that was not God’s plan so thus the Crusades protected Christianity in Europe for another 1,000 years).Spain suffered under the Muslim rule (Moors) at the same time period with the invaders pushing north there. God used both violent warriors and men of faith to fight Muslims and protect the faith of Jesus Christ. True history.

  • When our highest officials beg us not to do something because it angers our enemies, ah, I wonder ” HUH?” And then I just got to do what they don’t want me to do…just saying. Exactly what are our leaders thinking ? During our other wars were we admonished to not make cartoons of Hitler, to not call the little people gooks, don’t offend the Reds ?? Come on now. Either fight the enemy or just give in already. I am in favor (having read the book myself and finding it to incite violence/death against non-believers like me) of a mass book burning from coast to coast on Memorial Day. I’m in, what about you ?

  • If we don’t pink slip them this November, therush for guns and ammo will set new records !

  • We know they want an excuse to do away with the 2nd amendment. Period. But what really irks me is how the government officials and the media is fomenting people’s emotions. People, this spring and summer is going to get insane if they continue with the constant “hate and discontent” in the media. Why spring and summer ? Riots always happen when its warm and dry. Evidence?:

    Chicago riot April 5-7,1968
    Cincinnati riot April 10, 2001
South Central LA riot April 29, 1992
Washington DC riot May 5-7 1991
    Omaha, Nebraska July 5-8 1966
New York City riot July 13, 1977
    Harlem riot July 18-23, 1964
    Watts riot August 11-15, 1965
    Philadelphia riot August 28-30, 1964
    Philadelphia flash mobs August 2011

And that is just a sampling. Google: urban riots………….ready, set, here we go……………..

  • Sounds like a really angry girl friend to me.

  • Facts are facts and the economic facts do not change just because we pin the blame on someone else.First we have to accept our part in this dance. Did you buy a house that was too expensive? A truck that you couldn’t afford ? Are you carrying around four credit cards along with those food stamps ? You may be a part of the problem spending too much and not saving for the retirement years. Beyond the YOU in this equation YOU have had very little input into the economic picture but you are responsible for YOU. Second this information must stir us to do two things: 1. vote responsibly and 2. apply YOURSELF to preparing for the obvious future: mentally, spiritually, emotionally, economically, (yes store food, water, ammo ect). YELLING about who did this and who is responsible is just plain stupid at this point. Get over it and get on with it. You going to be the guy on the house while the river is rising with your damn “save me” sign swearing at the engineers who built the dam or you going to be the guy who owns the power boat. Time to chose, folks.

  • But…but….but you skewed their statistics! Now how will they know how many indoor toilets there are in your town ? The uncertainity of it all will drive someone behind a desk completely mad !

  • Amen.

  • The underlying issue of this particular protest is tuition hikes, not OWS. These students are seriously in a bind in California. I could talk about how California UC system has for decades had the lowest tuition nationwide but the fact that California is BROKE is the issue today. There is a trigger in the current budget that will DELETE $4 BILLION from the K-12 &Jr College and State College funding on January 1, 2012 and the state treasurer announced on Wednesday that the trigger must be pulled for LACK OF FUNDS. (Interestingly the state just recently passed a law to give illegal immigrants grants and in state tuition rates for college, but hey, politicians don’t see the impact of their actions on a state budget). Expect more demonstrations from California students…the system is broke monetarily, they are entitiled, and this is the ONLY WAY they can think of to lash out. In the early 70s I went to JC in SoCal when tuition was FREE and the only cost was books. Things have changed, and that ****** people off. It has been a long time coming to get us to this point but now as the economy is crashing cause we spent all the money and then spent some more….people don’t want the free ride to stop on them personally. First California and then the nation. Imagine the angst when Federal bills don’t get paid, imagine the demonstrations when the Social Security and FED Pension checks fail to arrive !!! It is coming and soon.

  • The word you are looking for is : ARROGANT. Not ignorant.
