  Tens of Millions were deferred because of job importance to the nation or governments (Feds, States, Counties, and municipalities. I for example was a NJ State Law Enforcement Officer. Many received Student deferments during the 60′s until November 1069 when the first draft lottery occurred. An American who wasn’t drafted was not unpatriotic! Only a leftist twist subversive would say otherwise.
