  • Do you mean if the picture was of Monica Lewinsky with Bill Clinton’s “willie” in her mouth, there would be hell to pay? Hmmm…Now, that would be unbelievable or actually quite believable!!

  • Those photos are too funny!

  • Like it or not, our Republic is founded on Judeo Christian values with the 10 Commandments being the foundation of civil law. While not all the Founders were Christian or Believers, they all agreed that our Republic could not survive without a “virtuous and moral people”. If the 10 Commandments reflects morality and obedience to “right conduct” that translates to “public virtue”, why are you so intent on eliminating these symbols from American society? Is not the forcing your beliefs over all others nothing more than oligarchy? And, if you are so offended by our history, the original intentions of our Founders and the Constitution, why don‘t you just relocate to a country that wasn’t founded on Judeo Christian values and does not allow the freedom of religion?

    In reply to AR485.

    Yowser!
And we wonder why child pornography and abuse is a problem?
And we wonder why bullying is a problem?
Good Lord, I feel sorry for that little boy…

  • Okay, let me get this straight… at conception, when a sperm fertilizes an egg, ultimately a human is born. Not a car. Not a dog. Not a toaster. Only a human. So now consider that Obama is FOR abortion and is mandating religious institutions violate their doctrines (thou shall not kill) to allow women the ability to abort through the HHS mandate. But, also consider that for the sake of visitation clearance to the White House, his staff asks soon to be mothers to list their baby — even though they are not born. Is this not proof that an unborn baby is a human?

Yes, this is quite ironic, moronic and senseless and further proof that this Administration’s moral compass is broken!

  • I don’t see this collaboration to be an issue. That 40 different congregations are coming together to work to attract young people back to God is, to me, a good thing. As a Catholic growing up in the suburbs, our youth group attended a Billy Graham crusade back in the 70′s and it was something I will never forget. Mr. Graham delivered a powerful and lasting message of God’s love that I have carried as both a Christian and as a Catholic throughout my adult life. His crusade was held at our (professional) baseball stadium downtown, with standing room only and he had quite the production too! Personally, I think it would be good to excite the young with the living power and word of God again. Isn’t Charlotte One attempting to do the same thing?

Regarding our individual churches, I think most of us have had good and bad experiences over the years. I guess you can address a specific issues with the church leadership or as they say in business, “vote with your feet!”. Let’s face it, a church is a reflection of it’s congregation and we all have to ask ourselves if we are active in our church community or passive.

We also have to ask ourselves if our church is actually teaching the word of God or twisting it to fit a specific narrative. To me, that is more of the concern and I think that if Charlotte One is in fact, teaching the word of God and challenging it‘s attendees to read the Bible to have first hand knowledge of it’s teaching, then I wish them great succes

  • Beautiful wonders of our universe and a gentle reminder of God’s awesomeness!

  • Fluking?

  • Sad that this young woman (like so many other people) doesn’t appear to have any critical thinking skills or sense of how special our liberties are… more proof that our educational system is a failure. She is mixing wanting free stuff with freedom of religion. Why are we allowing this stupid narrative to continue and how do we get on subject already?

  • ROFL The snoring pig reminds me of my ex. :))
