  • Obama will delay the publication of the OBL photos as long as possible. He wants to keep this story in the news. He knows this is a great opportunity (which as we all know, never goes to political waste).

If the news shows keep talking about the great Obama taking out OBL, then they won’t be talking about $5/gal gas.

From his perspectice, the longer he can keep the story in the news, the better.

Obama will release the photo when it is politically beneficial, and not a moment before.

  • So Palin is an idiot correct?

That’s what the Left keeps telling us.

They said the same thing about Ronald Reagan.

I can only laugh at the posts by Butcher as he parrots the Progressive talking points.

Isn’t wiping Israel off the map a fundamental goal for radical Islam?

With Obama in the White House, they understand that this is their best opportunity to do so, therefore they must act within the next two years.

  • REALINDEPENDENT

You have the Democrat talking points fed to you by their propaganda arm (the mainstream media) down pat.

I know, we should all be bowing at the mere mention of Obama‘s name for all the wonderful things he’s accomplished, but we are just too stupid to understand his vision for fundamentally tranforming America.

After all, it‘s working out so well isn’t it?

Thanks to his “reform” health care costs are skyrocketting.

So he passed all these wonderful tax cuts? The Progressive model of targetted tax cuts (i.e. payoffs to unions) has really jump-started the economy hasn’t it? The 10% unemployment rate has people dancing in the streets.

Face facts, if his Progressive ideology was the magic elixer that solved the world’s problems, his foot-soldiers wouldn‘t have been thrown out of office in the biggest rejection of a President’s policies since 1948.

  • Please explain what parts of Olbermann’s rants are “the truth”.

Who is more authoritarian? Obama (who has used government power to take over health care, car companies, financial institutions, etc.) or a Tea Party small business owner struggling to meet his payroll due to excessive taxation and regulation?

Be specific. Tell us the brillance that we missed.

  • His allegations?

“These are the kinds of cranks, menaces, mercenaries, and authoritarians you will turn this country over to?”

So, people who believe in individual freedom instead of social justice are mercenaries?

Here is what you and your ilk fail to understand:

The founding fathers were an evolutionary (we all know how Progressives love evolution) step forward for humanity. The recognized that individuals were free, they have rights, they are not beholden to a king, a czar, a ceasar or even a President.

They rejected the notion of collective salvation.

“They see the greatness of America not in its people, but in its corporations.”

Here, Olbermann mischaracterizes (lies) and misrepresents the ideas expressed within the Tea Party. You don’t see “Bail Out More Corporations!” signs at Tea Party rallies. Instead you see calls for a restoration of our founding principals.

What Olbermann is doing is called psychological transference. It is his belief that:

“the greatness of America not in its people, but in its government.”

“They see the success of America not in hard work, but in business swindles.”

It takes a level of profound ignorance to reach such a conclusion. The government rewards the business swindlers (and in many cases actively particpates). They punish hard work and individual achievement.

Olbermann, like all Progressives, believe it is each person’s responsibilty to support society instead of themselves. They assume people will act selfishly instead of selflessly. They believe that left to their own devices, people will not help their fellow man.

This gives them the moral justification for wealth redistribution and other social engineering.

“their sole purpose is to protect wealth and keep it where they think it belongs, in the bank accounts of the wealthy.”

Here Olbermann displays true economic ignorance and reveals the Progressive “Monty Burns” effect.

Rich people get rich by swindles, stealing and lying. They take their ill-gotten gains and stuff it under their mattress only to pull it every month to roll around in it. They use that money to buy yachts, luxury cars, mansions and planes.

They don‘t take what they’ve earned an invest it. They don’t expand their business. They don’t grow their company or start a new one.

They certainly don’t donate it to charity unless forced to by the government.

Olbermann only understands the dark side of human nature because that is the world in which he resides. In his warped view, the only people who get rich are the thieves and swindlers.

“revolution to establish a kind of theocracy for white males with dissent caged and individuality suppressed.”

Here Olbermann demonstrates his lack of Constitutional knowledge which drives the Tea Party movement. There is no desire to establish a theocracy, just an acknowledgement that when people lead moral lives based on a belief that our freedoms and liberties are individually based (and granted by God) then society as a whole prospers.

Look at how human life has changed since the emergence of America. Look at the advancements made, the diseases cured, the knowledge gained in such a short period of time.

To the Progressive, man is a stupid animal who needs to be lead into doing the “right thing” (ask Bill Maher).

That is the language of tyrants, which, in essence, is the road Progressives always take.

  • Progressives like Pelosi view the world from a “societal” perspective instead of an individual perspective.

Take health care for example. Instead of having an individual be responsible for their own health, they believe society is better off if we confiscate “little or nothing” from the poor, a “fair amount” from the middle class and “soak” the rich to provide health-care for everyone.

    Thus, all of society benefits.

Now they are talking about everyone having access to “free” college. Again, it is based on the belief that “society” will be better off if everyone has a college education.

Forcing everyone to pay for it is only “fair”.

Society will be better off if they pass cap-n-trade, as the planet will be cleaner.

Our Founders understood that society is better off when the individual is responsible for their own health, their own education and their own environment.

Since Progressives have profound belief in evolution, they should recognize that the Founders were an evolutionary step forward for humanity.

Man no longer needs to be ruled by a king, a czar, a ceasar or a pharaohs. They are capable of taking care of themselves.

Progressives are an evolutionary step backwards. They seek to return man to being subserviant to other men for the greater good of “society”.

  • ABC..

As human beings emerged from caves and eventually became the dominate species on the planet, it seems that throughout the world people began to worship some sort of God or Gods.

Why do you think that is? Mass hysteria?

Or was it some sort of disease that infected the planet?

What was the “spark” that caused human animals to believe in such things in practically every culture and civilization since humans learned to walk upright?

    In reply to Psychosis.

Progressives cling to evolution despite it’s many flaws and contradictions. Why? Because if we evolved from a pile of goo, then RIGHTS are simply constructs of man. Therefore man can create rights, remove rights and change rights as he sees fit.

Without a Creator, rights are nothing more than abstract concepts which have evolved over time.

Therefore since the Progressives believe they are the enlightened, they are the most intelligent, etc. then they are the ones who should determine those rights.

They are the ones who can grant them, remove them, or create new ones. It is this power which intoxicates Progressives.

The Founding Fathers were an evolutionary step forward for humanity, while the progressives are a devolutionary step backwards.
