  • Guilty: Jury Convicts Smart’s Kidnapper

    In reply to ozchambers.

In Utah you can’t be a felon and vote.

  • If he were only talking about the “inside out” – “top bottom down” change of a human being and their own perspection of themselves. If we were kinder of ourselves, we’d be kinder of others. Then we would want to actually help others and not force or change others.

    This is no new information:

  • Is there any SANITY left in Washington? Really.

  • WATT: You aren’t a business owner. We’re not whinning about making less money than our employees – WE ARE MAKING LESS MONEY than our employees.

You don’t seem to know the IRS rules regarding small business owners. I must file all of my business income and losses on my own PERSONAL taxes…..thus showing the I make $250K plus…. however, this is for tax purposes only, because as most every small business owner already knows we pay the employees + benefits for the employees + supplies + rent + expenses running a business and guess what – last year I believe between myself and my spouse we TOOK HOME BEFORE TAXES $25,000 each —- but we won’t EVER qualify for assistance because our tax statement shows that small business income amount.

You don’t get it…. you are the person that must realize that small business owners pay the employees, such as yourself, well before we pay our own expenses. I’m not taking time off – yet you‘ve most likely rec’d paid vacation, paid sick time and leave. You might even be receiving help from the gov’t PAID BY MY TAXES because you made something like $30k per year. Again, I made much less than that.

Plus I’ve got to care for the kids, be a full time parent and run the business. There are no vacations, no nannies…. This is the fact – we small business owners appreciate the fact that you all think we’re loaded, but in reality, if there was a $1.0 million tax mark instead, that would lessen the stress and create more jobs.

I can‘t believe that I’m the only person that realizes this – well other than the CAPITLISMROCKS there.

  • Obama Announces Tax Cut ‘Compromise’

    December 6, 2010 at 7:03pm

Does this mean that the previsously reported “compromise” of keeping the tax cuts would come only if Pres O would be allowed to add one year to unemployement?

  • What the heck does that mean, 13th? Odd comment.

  • This statement is irksome! “a group Republicans contend contains droves of small business owners”! Are they serious? Of course the idiots are because most of them have only been employed by the gov’t their entire lives and have absolutly NO idea how to work for a small business owner let alone how a small business owner pays their taxes!!!!!

Figure it out before you behave like this. You file your business income and expenses shown all on your personal income taxes. We files last year, paid our expenses which first include our two employees payrolls, disability, life and health insurances THEN we pay ourselves. I think that the most irksome part here is that we might have taken home for our own use $50,000 REALLY. No lying or manuvering for the IRS sake, but really – that means $25,000 per person! Yet we won‘t qualify for any gov’t assistance because they look at the tax filing.

Consider this – make sure who you vote for actually has personal life experience in the private business sector before you vote for them. You wouldn’t want to have a nurse who only was certified with on-line classes and never had personal experience in the hospital work on you, would you? Of course not. Why then do we accept anything less from our voted representatives?

  • Major Jewish Group Defends Beck Amid Soros Furor

    November 17, 2010 at 3:44pm

    In reply to BurntHills.

I think that you missed this – the ZOA is the one slamming the groups that slammed Mr. Beck. Bravo to the ZOA for standing exactly where they should, against somebody who historically and editorially does not support the Jewish people. Mr. Soros is outed and now there are many people that might be feeling that they’ve taken the wrong stance.

Good job to ZOA…. read their full statement on the webside above:

  • Hey, this is the same congress man that was quoted for saying, “You don’t expect us to take the time to actually read a bill before it goes to vote,” during the health care sessions earlier this year.

Ahh…..that makes sense, you were off in Jamaica with your rental property, or working out of your rent controlled building in NYC. Yeah, I truly believe that you personally don’t have any more money to pay for an attorney. Why don’t you take your own advice and sell off an asset to pay the bills. It sounds like you made a lot of money off the good ole’ tax payors of the USA that make an average of $50,000 per year and don’t own multiple properties – let alone one in the sunny waters of the Carribean. (sarcasim intended.)
