You have a name that insinuates a military background, that is a lie as well I’m sure. I say this because I am military and have never met anyone in the military quite as simple as you appear to be. For some people, it‘s better for them as well as those around them if they just don’t talk.

  My Army issued Colt M-4 that was issued me in 1998 has never misfired/jammed/had a blockage/stoppage, minus cracked/bottom busted magazines. With a piston there is talk of uneven wear in the upper from tilted bolt carriers as a result of consistently being pushed to one or the other side, not been a problem with direct gas impengement (Don’t know this for sure, but this is what I have heard). The only people that could really justify having these piston systems are the SEAL teams, even they don’t have to have them. The issue is about water in the gas tube, which the system in the HK does not have. Coming up out of the water, one has to drain the water from the gas tube before firing or risk rupturing the tube (takes all of two seconds). The HK piston system can fire immediatly exiting, no waiting, no draining. The other plus that is being sold to everyone is that the piston system keeps the chamber and the bolt much cleaner and cooler, less carbon equals less fouling in the weapon, cooler parts equals longer weapon life. Any weapon will foul/misfire if it is not cleaned, even a piston system. The reports on these are saying that it is doubling or more barrel life. I have heard from 18,000 to 30,000 can go through a piston system barrel. Where 10,000 to 15,000 are what they say our gas system barrels will take. I know some of our older M-16s (gas) have taken much more and were still used to qualify expert. Probably neet to have if they live up to the claims, but an M-4 is fi
