  • Nothing new here. The ROMANS CALLED US CANNIBALS as they threw us into the arena two thousand years ago. Satan really doesn’t change his act. Paul said that if we live the life that God would have us live, the world would hate us and we will suffer persecution. Count it as glory to God, The most damaging thing to do to Christianity is apathy from those who hate us.

  • I’m sorry, to get BHO out of the whitehouse, I’d vote for a Turnip. Newt has his problems, Mitt has his problems. All of them do. I don’t care. The country needs his immaculation out of power this term. Any of this talk dilutes the conservative vote and that will re-elect Obama. This is NOT the year for Ross Perot. Period. We won’t get another chance.

  • Did anyone check and see if Obama has been given money by Bridgstone? If they contributed to his coronation, then they will get preferential treatment by the feds. Then we will have a national mandate to use these green food dehydrator shelves and they‘ll force us all to lose weight so the tires won’t collapse with us in the car. Tail wagging the dog. That’s this administration in a nut shell.

  • I think THIS TIME the congregation may be saving part of their savings for some tar and feathers.

  • I watch Little Mosque on DVD boxed sets. It’s not available in the USA. I heard FOX was dabbling in the American Version. The Show is fantasy. It is a gentle family show that presents Islam in a positive light while poking fun at some of the traditions and customs. The Christians are not presented in any light different from the muslim parts of the congregation (and BABER you know who you are!). It is a positive portrayal. That said, it is also not realisitic either. The Islam that is presented is a Western Canadian/American Islam that reflects the mainstream American/Canadian. It does no harm and is entertaining. The show, if taken like Couric talks of it, would be a propaganda piece. It DOES NOT reflect the Islam of Pakistan, Iran, or Saudi Arabia. It is a fantasy.

  • Greyson’s new campaign strategy for his entire career, “DIE QUICKLY”. I’ll vote for that.

  • All of congress took an oath to protect the US Constitution from all enemies both foriegn and domestic. The problem is that right now the domestic enemies of the Constitution are in charge. Most freely admit they don‘t read bills and most don’t know the Constitution. The phrase separation of church and state is not in the Constitution but in the writings of Thomas Jefferson in private letters. All the constitution delcares is that the Government may not establish a state religion as was the case in Europe and most of the world including the Muslim world which bans any discussion of any other religion than Islam. You are free to worship as you please. That does not give others the right to stop you from practicing your own religion. The constant bashing of Christians just shows a reluctance to acknowlege that if you accept a Creator then you have to accept the concept of a Moral Universe. You are free not to believe. Don’t tread on me.

  • Is it lawful or just stupid to scream, “FIRE!” in a crowded theater? The same logic should apply here. WWJD? He wouldn’t hurt people who were hurting.

  • What the western world and most Christians do not realize is that Muslims actually worship the printed page of the Koran. Unlike the Bible it is not just a good book with life changing ideas printed on paper and everyone owns a dozen. To Muslims the book itself is Holy. Since Allah is not represented with an idol, the Muslim has made an idol out of the book itself just like the Jews did in Jesus’ day. Christianity (and thus the rest of our culture) emphasize the Man Jesus not the printed page. We cannot understand the Gut level disgust of literally burning the idol of their God. I threw out an old Bible that was worn out just the other day. They Muslim would not understand that either. There is a lot about the Islamic culture that we cannot understand from our Western world experience. I agree … don’t burn it. Not because it is holy, but because they feel it so. How can we ask them not to build at our “Holy Site” in New York because it isn’t right if we do the same thing? Christianity is about Love and Respect even of our enemies.
