Those are great. Do you have any more to credit him with?
Oh, you probably meant those were bad things.

  • Remember it was Egypt Air that had the first suicide airline attack prior to 9/11/2001. The co-pilot deliberately crashed the plane into the Altantic killing all on board. I have always wondered if this was connected in any way to Al-Qaida developing the plans for their attacks.

  • No, CATB th MSM will not ignore this. This will be portrayed as a minor incident and reported AFTER the sob stories of the poor women and children hurt by those brutal Israeli soldiers that launch the UNPROVOKED attack on innocent civilians (that just happen to live a story above the Hamas headquarters) in the next few days. There will be no mention of the timeline placing this attack beofre the Israeli action.

Each one of these new media scoops of the dinosaur media peels off a few more of the dazed and confused from the leftist base. It also strengthens the reliance of the public on new media so that the fairness doctrine will create a vacuum that fills with an even more diverse voice.

  • Wow hate is a powerful emotion and liberals live on it. The question is between Palin and Trump which one do you hate more? Non-Ivy League educated, self-confident, self-sufficient and successful governor or over confident, extremely successful business mogul? Unfortunately, hate gets less votes than hope.
By the way, ProgressiveLiberalMarine, if you’re the one are you the guy Murtha was talking about?
On Trump, this is another example of him opening his mouth on something he should leave alone. I keep waiting for someone to turn the birther charge the right way: It is no surprise that a single communist America hating mother would not make sure that when she ran home to mommy to have her baby

Right on. You have defined anti-capitalism well. This is why there is no such thing as a moderate.
The reason there are so many different ways of saying anti-capitalist is that distribution of power within a society of fallible humans can never be equal. Capitalism is the only ideology that openly acknowledges and embraces this fact. All other ideologies declare Capitalism the demon to justify a different means of distributing power, always with the proponents inherently on the recieving end of that power. Therefore, there is no benefit in trying to convert the proponents of anti-capitalist ideologies, only to awaken their followers.

In case you were unaware of it, Congress writes the budget so deficits result from spending more than tax revenues. There is no evidence of raising taxes ever balancing a budget. Clinton’s tax increase was too small to claim. The real impact was Congress reducing spending.

If you are the intellectual that you pose to be you should be able to follow your beliefs through to a few logical conclusions: Those who commit heinous acts will use whatever means are practical to justify their acts to their audience. Declaring themselves to be guided by religious principles does make it so and does not reflect on the merit of those principles.
Genesis was “written” several thousand years ago during a time when very little of what we now understand about science was know, even you with your superior intellect would not be able to convey the knowledge we have today to those of the time with an accuracy that would survive so long so well. And how simple will your knowledge be in 3000 more years?
What exactly is it about the basic principles of the major religions that you believe is destructive to society? Don’t kill? Don’t steal? Don’t envy? Be true and consistent in your principles? Treat others as you want treated? Those sound terrible don’t they?
If you want to believe that somehow if it weren’t for religion there would be absolute paradise (Isn’t that kind of like a religious belief?), you would need to develop some method of dispensing the wisdom of the ages that does not lead to utter chaos or brutal tyranny. What basis would you use? Would you develop codes of conduct and ethics? Would they not end up looking a lot like religions?

  • There is no way Obama’s teleprompter accidently forgot about the Creator. The point is that Obama and his advisors know he is perceived to have little regard for our founding fathers, for the traditional Christian origins of the principles in our founding documents and for those of us who believe that our country is exceptional because it is founded on principles and a reliance on moral character being stronger than moral degradation. In this light, if he had any regard for those of us who believe in those founding principles because we believe in judgment of a higher power, he would make every effort to intentionally dispel the perceptions. Instead he very consciously avoided a term that would upset those who feel the opposite. The only reason is that he wants and needs the support of those who believe that our country is not just flawed but evil in its founding.

  • And the school boards were busy trying to figure out how to get funding approved by the electorate. I am pretty sure there aren’t many school boards hoping to convince voters to support a hope and change stimulus package this time around.
