  I’m sorry this poor woman chose to end her own life. How sad and offensive it is that the unions would use her tragic choice to try to dump the blame on Gov. Walker. I pray that God will have mercy on her soul.

  I didn‘t watch this video clip because Griffin disgusts me and Glee is a show I saw once and won’t watch again. If I think I might like a program I first record an episode so I can check it out. Saves having to watch a lot of liberal nonsense and crudity. Griffin has spewed a lot of hateful trash and I refuse to watch her. I like watching Fox News but find little of value on Fox Entertainment. I don’t understand all the interest in “celebrities” especially those who are out of control. I’d be happy to go back to Ozzie and Harriet, the Cosby Show and the like. TV started going off the track with All in the Family and Roseanne. Why promote the value of bigots and slobs.

  That was my first thought too. To the Blaze: Why not use the word ‘transferred’ in your headline
  and let your readers decide if it was a ‘rescue’, if you get my drift.

  * indicate special terminology that should be identified for accuracy’s sake as someone else’s terminology, for example if a term (particularly a controversial term) pre-dates the writer or represents the views of someone else, perhaps without judgement (contrast this neutrally-distancing quoting to the negative use of scare quotes)

  The Chicago Manual of Style, 15th edition,[4] acknowledges this type of use but cautions against overuse in section 7.58, “Quotation marks are often used to alert readers that a term is used in a nonstandard, ironic, or other special sense […] They imply ‘This is not my term,’ or ‘This is not how the term is usually applied.’ Like any such device, scare quotes lose their force and irritate readers if overused.”

  I think Fr. Pavone was correct to say that baby Joseph was rescued not just transferred.
  There was no hope for him in Canada only certain death without the trache. Thank God for Fr. Pavone, Priests for Life, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital,
  and all who made the rescue possible.
