This could actually be a blessing in disguise. It is pretty much a foregone conclusion he will win his district. Have the hearings immediately upon reconvening the congress and than kick him out at the start of his newest term. Maybe this will than open up a means for the governor to appoint a gop member.

Okay. Now everyone on here has stated the obvious. Lets get out and do something about it this November instead of just talking.
A sane order of sequence for any plan is to first identify the objectives and than act accordingly to achieve the stated goals. Now is the time for acting, not just jacking our jaws.

I am a Retired Navy , and the captain of one destroyer I served upon had the constitution posted in the main passageway.

Your idea is good but we need the ability to override a presidential line item veto in each instance. If not Obama could prevent anything presented by a conservative from being passed.

I have only one problem with the minorities speaker. It would be impossible for the President and democrats to turn a deaf ear. Anyone with ears the size of the Presidents could not miss any whisper.
