  • Good one! If you read this verse (Luke 12:48) in context , He really is talking to the poor servant, money and wealth are not even the issue. Once again, Obama takes scripture and turns it into a sound bite for socialism. As far as the wealthy are concerned, even if they inherited their wealth, someone, somewhere down the line actually worked to earn the wealth. Career welfare recipients really are under obligation to try to better themselves. No way, no where does God condone stealing by the government.

  • @ Pontiac –Religion is like a penis. It‘s fine to have one and it’s fine to be proud of it, but you shouldn’t whip it out in public or shove it down people’s throats.– Unless you’re a GLBT activist working for social justice, then it’s perfectly fine. Repeat after me, This Is What Democracy Looks Like,,,,This Is What Democracy Looks Like,,,,This Is……………………………………………………..

  • I’m getting a little tired of the Mitt/Perry feud. They are like two mean girls vying for prom queen. The only grown up on the stage tonight was Newt. Never thought I would say it, but he’s growing on me. He could probably mop the floor with Obama in a debate. Maybe a little experience isn’t a really bad thing………

  • Fox is leaning a bit too far “forward”. I don’t watch much anymore because they are getting too PC. The right response would have been to engage in the debate with Hank. Disavowing was the chicken poop way out. We are more polarized than ever before and sweeping the truth under the rug and refusing to let both sides be heard does no good at all. Trying to play to the mushy middle and clueless independents who can’t figure out what they stand for is destroying this nation. Between good and evil there is no neutrality. No middle ground, No “consensus”. For the last several months, Fox has been striving for mediocity and I’m pretty much done with them..

  • Ron, Hitler started by winning over the “render unto Caesar” types too. Look into the history of the church in Germany. This is not a small move. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution, states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”. What part of SHALL MAKE NO LAW is unclear? I guess I missed the part about some obscure city code being okay. Together with the Free Exercise Clause (”… or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”), these two clauses make up what are called the “religion clauses” of the First Amendment. These are pretty clear. Go back and read the whole context of the “render unto Caesar” passage.(Matt22, Mark 11) What was written on the coin in Jesus hand when He said what he did? (Tiberius Caesar Augustus, son of the DIVINE Augustus) What do you think the Son of God thought about Caesar’s claim to divinity? Since this happened on the Temple grounds where no idolatrous images were allowed,, why did they even have a coin in their pocket within the walls to hand Him in the first place? Either God rules or the state rules. Period. The middle ground is just an illusion of the state. Go along to get along aye? Go ahead and keep believing that applying for a permit to meet and worship God is okay but some of us are drawing the line in the sand and saying no more. We shouldn’t wait till it gets to the point it did in Germany.

  • Isn’t the city of San Juan Capistrano named after the first church mission in that area? Irony. Liberals clinging to their zoning laws and Gaia.

    In reply to TH30PH1LUS.

@TH30PH1LUS – How can they claim to have jurisdiction beyond the borders & territories? Would have made sense if they prohibited him from TRAVEL outside the U.S. But they cannot claim to supersede the laws of other sovereign nations. Have you had a city or county “visioning for 2020” meeting in your area lately or in the past few years? If you have, I can guarantee that some where in the final doctument is a sovereignty clause. Is your city or county involved in “sustainable development” or “smart growth” ? If these terms are familiar to you, you need to do some study on Agenda 21 and LA21 and ICLEI. I sincerely believe that these are a major threat to our freedoms and many cities and counties with clueless politicians have already jumped on the band wagon because it is presented in such warm and fuzzy terms and comes with free grant monies with unelected NGO’s pulling the strings and making the laws for YOUR community. PLEASE educate yourselves on this issue!!!!! It is the local back-door approach to and framework for introducing international law at the local level. Educate yourselves on Agenda 21 if you cherish freedom and believe in the Constitution. Here is a link to the activity of ICLEI is the area of North Carolina where the ruling mentioned in this article happened. Check it out http://gaspeegazette.wordpress.com/sustainability-iclei-local-governments-for-sustainability/

  • No, the lefty sheriff is down south in Tucson U of A. He’s the sheriff where the la raza kids took over the school board meeting in Tucson that Glen showed the video of awhile back and where Giffords was shot.

  • In 2003 some students from our church got permission to hand out free packages of top ramin soup as a kindness ministry for the students. No prostlizing , just giving away free soup and letting them know where we were located just off campus should they like to attend. It went great so they wanted to do it again the next year too, but were denied permission in 04 because they were affiated with a church.

  • They were closing whole departments and doing massive layoffs long before Brewer came to office. They spent themselves into the ground under Big Sis Napolitano when she was governor. They have no one to blame except themselves. Liberals think money grows on trees..
