  Only taxpayers should be allowed to vote. We are reaching a tipping point of non-taxpayers being able to vote themselves permanent benefits while enslaving people who actually produce revenues from their income. If you pay no taxes, or actually get taxpayer dollars instead of pay into the Treasury, you have no business voting. You should have to earn that privilege by actually paying taxes. This is why a flat tax would be more equitable; everyone would have skin in the game.

  War should be “handled with dignity”!!?? Yes, lets throw an elegant war; it’s terrible when things get so messy!

  What could be uglier than one man killing or trying to kill another? That is the very essence of war. Yes, some countries have tried to agree to rules of engagement, such as the Geneva Convention, however, the object of war, which is often forgotten in this politically correct age, is to destroy and vanquish the enemy. This is never a pretty thing. And, if photographs are taken, those who do not appreciate the nature of war may be repulsed by its sight, but they should not condemn what they do not understand and appreciate, much lest moralize from the comfort of their homes, and the freedom from which they benefit as a result of their betters who have the courage to engage the enemy. Graphic war photographs can be upsetting and should not be publicly distributed, however given present day technology, this is difficult to control. When it happens, however, there should not be a big to do over it. It is not as though there is a video of our men torturing the enemy; real torture, not waterboarding or sleep deprivation. Like hot-pokers-in-the-eye, pull-out-the-fingernails torture. We don’t have anything close to that here, or even at Abu Ghraib. This is a silly tempest in a teapot. Move along. Nothing to see here.

  As reported by The Jewish Forward, the majority of American Jews “view friendship to Israel as second in importance to shared social values.“ In this case ”shared social values” means subscription to Left wing, Progressive ideas, if not outright radical thinking. Progressivism is actually their First Religion to which Judaism takes a backseat. In this way “multiculturalism” and similar concepts become higher values than self preservation. Embracing Islamic Fundamentalism over traditional Christian Values is as suicidal as supporting German Nazism. Jews do not understand that they should be conservative, but this is just not “cool” where being “cool” is a very important “shared social value.” Sheep.

  At what point does this become SEDITION or TREASON? Shouldn‘t Big Sister be keeping an eye on this school’s political science department? We need protection from “all enemies, domestic and foreign.” These students are being trained for Bill Ayers’ revolution. So, when they complete the course, do they get their brown shirts? Academic study is one thing; training to carry out revolutionary philosophy is quite something else. This is not about academic freedom. (Good luck trying to find academic freedom for conservative courses on this campus.)

  Let‘s see if I understand Blooming Idiot’s logic: a criminal uses “illegal guns” from outside of New York to commit a crime THEREFORE, law-abiding citizens should not be allowed to own and carry legal guns to protect themselves from these criminals who will get the guns anyhow. Beyond that, we need more ant-gun laws because…..because….oh, hell, we just need more of them….it makes the people think we are trying to protect them while we deny them their Constitutional right to bear arms.

Ordinary law-abiding citizens with handguns thwart crimes and criminals EVERY DAY in this country, but the Leftist media won’t report this because it goes against their agenda. Just think, if criminals had the sense that just about every sane and law-abiding citizen who wanted to carry did so, the crime rate would plummet. Keeping citizens from exercising their 2nd Amendment rights is an open invitation to criminals to victimize them. You are also incorrect about the Constitution; it does not limit the bearing of arms to militia groups, and the Supreme Court has so held. But again, your ignorance is showing. If the fascists like Obama and Holder decide they are going to take your guns away (and they won’t stop there), you can kiss your hunting rifles goodbye. You need to educate yourself, Bucko. Do you realize that most of the anti-gun politicians and celebrities either carry or have armed bodyguards. Hypocrites.   The kid was apparently not right in the head. Blame the owner of the gun who did not secure it. Again, however, all the gun laws are not going to prevent something like this. You are always going to have random acts of violence because you cannot anticipate every incident of this type. And you can’t blame the MEANS as the CAUSE. The kid could just as easily taken the keys to his parent’s car and mowed down a bunch of kids in the school yard. You wouldn’t hear cries for “car control.” There’s no need for “gun control” other than keeping them out of the hands of known criminals and mental defectives, and the like. Everyone else should be allowed to carry a gun (preferably concealed) anywhere they like. This way the bad guys, who always find a way to get guns, would not know who around them can take them out, giving them pause before committing a crime. Unlike places like New York and Chicago where looney liberals guarantee thugs that no one else is going to have a gun and they can terrorize anyone they want (except of course dwarfs like Bloomberg who has a carry permit and is surrounded by armed guards – total hypocrite).
