When in Korea for Operation Bearhunt, I had a chicken leg that, had it came from a chicken would have been the strangest looking and largest yard bird I have ever seen….The flavor and texture of the meat wasn’t poultry either.   Truth be told, back in the 80′s we refered to this type of weapon as a punch extender. Most of the time I would envision the use of a weapon of this type the muzzle would actually be in contact with the target at the time of discharge. The target preferably would not even realize the conflict had become a gunfight until after impact. Brandishing a weapon is simply tactically stupid. If the time to employ deadly force has arrived, nothing is gained by letting the initiator know they have made a really poor choice in victims. Even if brandishing caused them to wave off and flee, you have just given them a chance to choose another target on another day.

  If the reported chain of events in the police report is true, the moment the kid punched Zimmerman it became aggrivated assault. The moment he began pounding his head into the sidewalk it became attempted murder. At that point at a minimum deadly force in self defense became justified.

  Do some fact checking. just a quick look at the film’s release sites shows California, Illinois, Maryland, Michican…..without going into detail. Hardly exclusive to deep south theatres.

  In the 1930′s 80 plus percent of the population lived in rural areas and provided at least some of their own produce and livestock. Today that number is almost inverted toward urban living. When the supply train comes off the rails the potential disaster could surpass any famine in recorded history.
