  • Thank God for men like him. I hate seeing things on the internet where someone is getting beat up and people just pass by, not wanting to get involved. What if that person was their loved one? It is time to stand up for what is right. Way to go dude!

  • Wow, she had to be impaired somehow either by medicine, alcohol, or just plain confused. My mom did a similar thing, pushing on the gas pedal instead of the brake. Just because you have been driving for 50 or 60 years doesn’t mean you should keep doing it. My mom gets confused a lot and so does another lady her age that I know, they function pretty well, but driving? Why didn’t she freak out and slam on the brakes when she saw what was happening? She just keeps going thru the store. Was she thinking why are all of these people and canned goods in the street? I can’t believe those people were not hurt, looks like they got thrown and run over. Wow!

  • Funny, very well executed.

  • Paper or Plastic? L.A. Moves to Ban Paper and Plastic Bags

    In reply to jzs.

Ok, dummy. Millions of those people reuse those bags to…carry their lunch in, wrap up dirty diapers, clean the litter box, line small trash cans, carry their wet swimsuit and towel in, the list goes on and on. And if we don’t have those grocery bags to use we will be purchasing different PLASTIC bags to do those things with. I haven’t bought plastic trashcan liners (small ones) for years, I just reuse the ones from the grocery store. Also, I work for a nonprofit thrift store and we always use the recycled plastic ones instead of having to buy new ones. So really this law would actually ADD to the plastic bag demand, simply because we wouldn’t have the ones we brought home from WalMart! Simple supply side economics.

  • First of all John Derbyshire is a very well known writer. He was only freelancing for the National Review, and his articles were a great read, and they ran them every publication. The website is another matter, but still just because you haven‘t read his works and don’t know who he is or about the website doesn’t mean it squat. And speaking to exactly what he wrote…all stats he listed in this article can be proven, and resourced, and his opinions about blacks and mobs, etc., that he wrote about are things we all know to be true because we’ve lived it or experienced those things and know them to be true. He was just brave enough to put it all in writing so others could play sanctimonious twits and judge what he said as something they know they believe but won’t admit to. Being aware of my surroundings and judging people by their appearance and behavior in certain situations does not make one a racist any more than standing in a garage makes one a car. It could, however, save their life or the lives of their loved ones.

  • God put in humans a “Fight or Flight” mechanism. We would be wise to heed the flight mechanism when it kicks in. That is different from “fear.”

  • So, everyone who disagrees that it is good advice, let him or her advise their children (or even themselves) to go and do everything the opposite. Any takers? Didn’t think so.

  • RangerP is right on!

  • Notice that all of those kids looked pretty healthy. Where was she? In a lower income school or an upper income school. I dare you to go to the schools with lots of lower income areas, you notice that most of them are over weight. I once heard a lady from India trying to immigrate here (legally) and her main reason was because she wanted to live in a country where the poor people are fat. I work at a non profit where people come to get free food, they don’t want what we offer because it is too healthy, they want McDonald’s, fast food, etc. All of the poor people are fat. They live on food stamps and welfare and are overweight. Someone needs to do a study on that, comparing people on food stamps and so called below the poverty level and those that aren’t and correlate the number of obese people in each group. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. We are always hearing ads on the radio about people being hungry, and they come in to our place, fill their bags with stuffed animals and crap and leave the food on the shelf. Hungry my ass!

  • Parents are separated from their children for drawing pictures of guns, being too fat, or feeding them wrong, but this they leave alone????? It would seem that sex is off limits or anything relating to it, abortion, etc., check out the sex ed. videos that Planned Parenthood puts out, positively pornographic and they are showing it to elementary kids.
