  Romney’s talk was awesome. If we really want to demonstrate our anger against our current president and his policies, than we must unite and elect Romney. I undestand he may not have been your candidate, but now is the time to stand together and set our differences aside. The only way to beat Obama will be an engergized, unified, stand for Romney.

  We can direct our anger at this man all we want, but who is holding the university accountable for where he spoke? To give a hate-filled, race-baiter a platform for preaching is at least as criminal as what came out of his mouth. Why pay him to preach? We wouldn’t pay someone who is criminally insane to come to a college campus and I think anyone could make the argument that Loius is criminally insane.

Your bling bigotry is apalling. you don’t believe Christians have ever enacted crimes against humanity? I believe if you polled the KKK for their religious affliliation you would find them all self-described as “good Christian folk.” How about the crusades? The Salem witch trials? The Spanish Inquisistion? Christians have murdered and raped and plundered along with every other religious group in history. Stop spreading hate! Love is what breaks down barriers, not banning people from your community. If you feel you have more truth than the Muslims then act like it!

  Surhansurhan, I appreciate your one-man stand against the bigots of this world. The words from the Bible you are accused of twisting have been twisted by these people in worse ways. Anyone who uses their religion as an excuse to hate another is denying the very essence of religion. Dogmatic interpretation of certain passages of scripture has a cauterizing effect on conscience. Justify away you bigots, but Jesus said: “by this shall all men know ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” No school children are going to hell for singing that song and who are you to assign people to hell anyway? Hell begins on this earth and it begins with hate. People who hate are in hell already.

  It must just kill all the “good christians” out there who can’t vote for a Mormon since they just KNOW Mormons are of the devil, but Newt is an adulterer, commited numerous ethics violations while serving as speaker of the house and now seems to be lying about something else. Meanwhile Mitt has never cheated on his wife or his taxes and has lived an exemplary life–but by his fruits we shall (not?) know him? Oh and let’s not forget the honored constitution, inspired by God, claiming we should make no religious test for political office. Wow! you have to throw morality, logic and the constitution out the window to do what you’re doing. Some of you really give christianity a black eye

  You Ron Paul supporters ARE CRAZY IF…you believe Obama will be better for our country than Romney. It sounds to me like you are just cutting off your nose to spite your face. A conservative in the White House is better than a liberal and its time you stopped whining and grow up! I know you like Ron Paul–so do I! But I can’t stand the “it’s my way or the highway” approach Paul’s supporters are taking. When Romney lost the nomination to McCain four years ago, even though they everyone knew they detested each other, Romney immediately threw all his support behind McCain so a conservative could have a chance. That takes maturity and an understanding that we don’t always get our way. If Ron Paul won the nomination, Romney would support him and hopefully the rest of the conservative base would too. When all is said and done, defeating Obama should be our top priority and Romney clearly has the best chance of making that happen.

  Are Mormons Christians? Of course they are! The name of the Church is: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But the “real Christians” out there cite doctrinal differences as reasons to knock Mormon’s Christian faith. You demonize your fellow man in God’s name, claiming all authority to judge them to be of the devil and feel this is somehow serving Jesus. The hypocrisy is too much! I watched on the news how a group of “real Christians” came to SLC to convert all the wayward Mormons and this guy wearing his I LOVE JESUS shirt was dragging a Book of Mormon on the ground daring some Mormon to do something about it. Whenever you use your religion as an excuse to hate your fellow man, you’re doing it wrong.
