  • I wish I could show Glenn around and welcome him for Israel’s independence day.
There are points on the 1949 cease fire line (so-called 1967 lines) where you can see the ocean with the unaided eye.
That brings home how small the country is.

  • Anita is actually completely correct.
For a given vaue of “Nobody” of course. She means “nobody who is anybody important i.e. one of the Political Class.

And they didn’t know how bad the economy was? What, all those genius academicians they love couldn’t be bothered to look at publicly available statistics? They spent years screaming at how GWB’s economy is horrible (an egregious lie), but thought everything would be OK when they take over.

I think the think that ticks me off the most is that they really think we are that dumb!

  • Ans if Glenn had given the full story, and mentioned Sandy Berger, all the leftards would be screaming “Political! Political! it was a political rally!”

  • Mideast talks reopen under tough conditions

Beilin is one of those who led Israel into the Oslo disaster (where even the legal standing of what he did is questionable). Take his comments on “minimal price the most pragmatic Palestinian leader” with a big grain of salt…about the size of the Hoover dam…

  • Israeli’s are largely against dividing Jerusalem. It’s Barak who cannot learn from his mistakes and is living a pipe dream.

  • Has anyone noticed that Micha Cardines (the first speaker) is wearing a Palestinian Kaffiyeh a-la Yasser Arafat?
Not surprising, considering that his other choice would probably have been Che Guevara fashions.
