  Her biggest angle was that an illegal immigrant being a Latino. When Mr. O’Reilly suggested that it also applied to anyone, whether Russian, Asian, etc, her argument deflated very quickly. This group’s wants you to connect Mexican with the now “slur” illegal alien. Apply same logic to a Irishman or Russian and they are left with nothing, which apparently is all they have when he made her “Czar for a day”.

  Removing illegal alien from our language for being an ethnicity slur to open a new line of conversation, is EXACTLY like Obama claiming there was no more Global War on Terror (GWOT), rather there was now an “Overseas Contingency Operation” (OCO). You can’t negotiate with a terrorist. Remove the word Terror and now we’re all good friends.

  Today is no different than it was in the past. The media is making this out like it’s a new thing in this new world. I graduated 20 years ago this spring. I was a BFA in graphics design. I did it because it was interesting and I never considered what life would be like, post-college. I had been in school all my life up to that point. My parents didn’t agree with my choice and I pursued it without their financial backing. It was my “big FU” to the old man. I’m going to do it anyway.

  At graduation there was no real work in graphics design. I could get interned, but at no pay. It was a viscous circle. No one would hire someone without experience, but to get experience you’d have to work for no pay for a period of time. I couldn’t do it. Especially now that the college loans were coming back to haunt me.

  I retreated home. I lived with my parents. For two years, I worked two and sometimes three jobs. I then joined the Navy to do it for one tour and make some better money. My father was retired Navy. Now 16+ years later, I still am in. I paid those college loans off after 12 years. I watch the enlisted men in my command striving to get their degrees and they take it so seriously. Back when I was 18 I took nothing seriously. Maybe I should have worked in the real world first a bit and then gone to college. School to school to school affects the brain and you actually expect to be given something.

  Wow. Aside from the rulebook wrongness of the hit, he friggin launched himself into that player. Both skates off the ice. He switched his momentum from skating, to flying. It’s an amazing hit. Wrong. But an amazing hit.

  5 time repeat offender… 25 games feels right, maybe longer. He knew he was taking that guy down and down for awhile.

  Hallelujah. I was knew I wasn’t alone. We were just talking about this last night and I was expressing my dismay at the selection to watch on “History” (which I do put in quotes purposely). Sad. I used to love the channel.

  I’m afraid to say, it’s like how folks can also say “Remember when MTV played music videos?”

  Wait. So the 911Responder on the phone asks, “White, Hispanic, or Black”, to which Zimmerman replies, “Black”. And now NBC judges he’s a racial profiler by that answer? He just answered the gosh darn question.

  It sounds to me he had legitimate concerns about a individual who appeared to him to be no good, after a series of break-ins in that neighborhood. To me a “racially charged” phone call would have started with the color of the skin, but the 911 Responder had to ask.

  I also share a cubicle at work with a fellow officer who is Hispanic. I asked her if she had ever heard of the term “White Hispanic”. She said until this case, never. Interesting how the Liberal MSM is so bent on laying this on the shoulders of someone White that they create out of thin air a new term, just to get White in there somewhere.

  As a parent, it disturbs me that a 13 year old is on “spring break” away from her parents in a foreign country. That just smacks of money, snootiness, and downright poor judgement. The fact that she took 12 of her best friends, makes the story even more sad. My tax dollars are being used to finance 13 tweens and 25 Secret Service agents to travel to Mexico, at what cost? And why?

  Even if I set aside the repugnance of all of it, the fact they couldn’t simply go somewhere in the United States is baffling. Buy USA. Support local. Watch me over here, while I sneak out the back and vacation elsewhere. The disdain that family has for the very country they lead is tragic.

  If you have a package of hot dogs in the fridge, and I don’t care what brand and at what price paid, the first ingredient is generally a “mechanically separated” meat of some sort. Did anyone question that? How many hot dogs have children eaten… our nation’s debt worth? Now we have mechanically separated burger too and suddenly panic in the streets? Sorry, I don’t get it.

  I feel like we’re not hearing the full story. Something prompted this man to go to the authorities about the child porn. Nearly everyone else in this world would have downloaded the file, thinking it was music, opened it and thought, “Blimey!” and instantly deleted the file and then try to use sandpaper on their eyes to get rid of the imagery. I would have been making sure it got deleted and overwriitten to make sure no one in my household saw it.

  So, why the authorities? Why did he report on himself? Clearly if he thought he was downloading music, he was not at a real up and up site, you know? He was illegally downloading music, or at least thought he was. I imagine he’s done this many times in the past for he knew which slimy web sites to use. Instead he got child porn. Was the file purposely mislabeled?

  I read this earlier in the day. I thought I was reading about a joke or at least something with a punchline ending. The more I read, the more I was incensed. This man defends his home (and his neighbor’s), fires a shot in the dirt to show he means business, and now has the possibility of going to the same jail for the same amount of time as the true criminal robbing the two houses. WTF, Over?

  Agreed Dianne. Where is the outrage in the Western countries? Why do women’s rights advocates come out of woodwork for contraceptives from the Catholic church, yet not a day’s flight away, are countries where women can’t even drive or show their faces?
