  few of us, I think, have the the wherewithal to truly comprehend the deep, dark place of despair and hopelessness that a human being gets to in order to take their own life. Anyone who has had a family member or close friend try (or succeed) catches a glimpse of that, but does truly affect all those around them. It’s NOT an excuse for callous remarks. My heart goes out to her family

  Come on guys. Tapper’s recommendation was not about the 1st Amendment here. It was about showing Good Taste and decency, something that Comedians seem to throw out in the name of humor. My Grandmother had a saying: “A man’s character is most revealed by what he thinks laughable”

  ChiefGeorge gets it. mark my words. Look for something to happen between now and September that will be used to declare Marshall law. And for too many people in this country, it will seem like the proper thing to do. Back in 1968, a movie called “Shadow on the Land”, based on the book “It Can’t Happen Here” by Sinclair Lewis. Very creepily mirrors current events. All he needs (or those who control him) is an Overton event.
