  Hold on now Bub When I joined the US Navy from Puerto Rico (Served in Iraq, Yugoslavia, Afganistan, and a few more times in Iraq, now retired) I was a Puerto Rico resident and I payed income taxes and they are extreamly Hi. Right around 23% as a single sailor. Our system is just more complex than the US IRS code (wow it feel weird to even say it). On top of it all they naw have a VAT tax. Yes I came to my senses and changed it to Virginia were I was stationed at the time. Now Maryland.
  Trust me WE PAY ALOT! Unfortunatly we have third world mentality (corrupt) politicians and just like in the mainland US, we have a massive entitlement problem.
  When the new Governor let go of a large percentage of public workers the was a mass outrage. Ultimately it made financial sense but he was demonized for it.
  How ever you look at it there are 4,500,000 US citizens without voting representation and unable to vote in the US general elections for president.
  Taxation without Representation (sound familiar?).
  Either make them a state or cut them loose, their current state is unconstitutional scince they were made US citizens in 1917.

  All right Devil Dog this Retired aviator Squid (Gulf War, Provide Comfort, Kosovo, Afhganistan, Iraq) has a bone to pick with you.
  I worked my A** off and was shot at for 20 years, then came back and PAID to finish my education.
  (Did not use GI Bill).
  Now I have a decent Job (No im not in the 1%)
  I have no respect for these kids who want theri own debts dissmised.
  I dont want anyone giving me their money or the money their parents earned, and will not give these cretins anything for free either.

  How did you feel being thrown into harms way in foreing lands and seing the locals just sitting back and watching the “show”?

  Granted a civilian with a high school degree will not get paid what a military member would after ten years of work or maybe even twenty (my dad worked at a GM plant and was getting paid way more then I was when I had 20 years in) but do you get sent to Iraq while working as a civilian at GM or Walmart?
  I went 6 times and once to Afghanistan. Does your family have to stay a home worried and looking at the news every day hopping you are no going to be a statistic.
  And oh yeah the medical cost for us are SOOO fricking expensive!
  Well I guess phycological treatment for PTSD aint cheap is it.
  Tell me does the average McDonalds customer try to ambush you on a daily basis?
  And I guess prosthetic limbs cant be found at a dollar store.
  Im sure GM has the same problem and numbers.
  I joined to serve my country, I stayed for my family’s financial stability. Because after I got out at 21 years, I was still just a HIGH SCHOOL GRAD facing pay charts of just that level.
  I worked two jobs and went to college, in order to make it even with that military retirement check.
  Lets instead look at the 6 year Senator or 2 term Congressman getting the same benefits as me or even better.
  Lets look at the 11 vacations our president has had and the lavish trips for the first lady and her friends.
  We have always been willing to sacrifice but,
  There are a plethora of other places look before you look US.

  They can do whatever they want HOWEVER let me point out a few things:

  ONE… Hollywood just recalled and edited Red Dawn (remade from the 80′s version with PLA trops invading) in order to remove ALL refences to the PLA.
  We are being politically correct So we are wont offend them

  TWO… Our games (I’m a Gamer) while depicting all kinds of races, use ficticional groups and governments,so as to not OFFEND (except for historical games like WW2 games) and this particular example clearly uses US TROOPS as TARGETS!!!

  THREE… while the talking heads of the CCP talk nice to our politicians the OFFICIAL stance of the PLA is that the USA is the ENEMY.

  Free speach goes both ways, release Red Dawn as it was filmed. DAMN THE PC!
